I needed to remind myself of this today.
The last few weeks have been intense. Work has been pretty all-consuming, I’ve been travelling across multiple countries, dealing with jet lag, and generally struggling to keep up with everything.
And now that I’m finally home, I want to make up for lost time with my wife and son.
I haven’t been nearly as active here as I’d like.
But I haven’t forgotten Wang Wang. Not for a second.
I meant every word I wrote in August. This was never going to be a fight won in weeks or months.
I’m still here. And I’m not giving up.
It’s going to get harder before it gets easier.
Right now, Wang Wang still feels close.
People are still angry. Still heartbroken. Still sharing her story. Still asking what they can do.
But there will come a point when the headlines slow down. When fewer people post. When weeks turn into months and it feels like nothing is changing.
That’s when this gets harder.
So tell yourself something today, while you still feel this strongly:
Don’t forget how you feel right now.
Real change rarely happens at the moment everyone is paying attention. It happens because some people are still there after everyone else has moved on.
We may not get justice quickly. We will face setbacks. We will sometimes wonder whether any of this is working.
Keep going anyway.

The rest that i have reported to police from the last three years are illegal and because of human values are not allowed outside of #China 🇨🇳 , a nation that does not share values of the rest of the world. Chinese videos even use innocent nonfamous foreigners' images as background in t*rture videos, even children, maybe even YOUR image.

Your dog spends about 20% of the night awake and its sleep quality doesn't drop at all. In the bed-sharing arrangement, you were always the fragile one.
Dogs are polyphasic sleepers. Their sleep comes in short bouts stacked across the whole day, and their brains are built to surface, check the room, and sink back under in seconds. Humans run on 90 minute cycles where a single bad 3am wake-up can cost an hour. Same mattress, two completely different operating systems.
A Mayo Clinic study put activity trackers on 40 owner-dog pairs for a week. The dogs hit 85% sleep efficiency whether they slept on the bed or the floor. The humans managed 81%, and their number moved depending on where the dog was. Dog sleep was bulletproof. Human sleep bent around the dog.
Then wearables blew up the sample sizes. A 2026 analysis of 11,733 WHOOP users across 1.6 million nights found that on dog-in-the-room nights, people slept about 10 minutes longer, resting heart rate dropped about 1 beat per minute, and heart rate variability rose. There were a few extra micro-wakeups, around 0.4 per night. The nervous system downshifted anyway. It read the dog as safety.
A 2025 study ran sleep EEG on family dogs and found the inversion. Dogs sleep measurably worse when their owners aren't in the room. You are your dog's sleep aid, and apparently its main sleep disruption too.
The evolutionary read is that this deal is tens of thousands of years old. Humans who slept near dogs could afford deeper, more vulnerable sleep because something with better hearing was handling the night watch. Co-sleeping researchers think dogs literally expanded how much uninterrupted sleep early humans could get.
The dog takes the broken sleep so you don't have to. The trade predates agriculture, and your heart rate still drops a beat the moment one curls up at your feet.

I know police forces typically seek to hire low-IQ individuals for compliance purposes, but we really need to elevate the baseline standard.
The bodycam footage is finally out.
And now the truth is there for everyone to see.
HeeHaw wasn’t charging. He wasn’t attacking. He wasn’t some uncontrollable threat.
He was doing what everyone who knew him said he always did: running up to greet someone in his friendly, curious way.
And for that, Officer Trenton Garner shot and killed him.
Watching the footage makes this even harder to stomach. HeeHaw was a one-year-old miniature donkey, on his own property, being himself. That should never have ended with a gunshot.
For weeks, we demanded answers. We demanded the footage. We demanded accountability.
Now we have the footage, and if anything, it makes the need for justice even more urgent.
There is no world where what happened to HeeHaw should simply be accepted and forgotten.
We are furious. We are heartbroken. And we are more determined than ever.
Officer Trenton Garner must be held accountable for what happened to HeeHaw.
We will not stop speaking his name.
We will not stop pushing for answers.
We will not stop until there is justice.
