Yesterday, I told my wife that as a neoliberal-banker-boss type, Carney will likely work the edges (tax schemes) like Liberal predecessors but then he'll pull a Paul-Martin-style switcheroo and defund a bunch come year 2... I might be eating my words BEFORE election day—cool...😅
If you’re in Alberta, don’t look at the new renewables rolling out in the US. Xcel in MN and other iron-air battery plants replacing coal-fired systems are using fed money to test at scale. We’re missing that boat in AB—not leaders for long.😔

Apparently Movies 12 has permanently closed, which is a shame. It was north-side #yeg’s home for second-run movies ( the “dollar theatre”) but when it initially opened it was showing fresh films. Saw lots of movies there.
