Queenwen has such a way with words: "I used to think that winning a match is like drinking water: it is normal. But now I'm more grateful for every win because I understand how much effort I have made behind every win. I've learned to enjoy the wins and the effort on court."
Coco said this about Sun Xinran in Beijing, when asked if she felt like she was playing a version of herself:
"I feel like we play a little bit different. Didn't feel like myself. Felt like I'm playing a girl who is going to be a really great player for many years to come."
Nice get-to-know from the WTA Tour on Sun Xinran, this year's girls' champion from China. She's got so much game.

Went to Berkeley for the W50 event last week and it was way better than I could have ever imagined. Got to see Kayla Day play twice. She's racking up titles this year.

Taylor talking about riding the 7 train to watch Angie Haynes on court 11 when she was a kid was so cool. Great to see her and Katerina Siniakova get it over the line today.

Andreeva, if she wins, will be 3-1 at the Slams in '26 from a set down and 9-8 on the season from a set down.
As far as movement per inch tall, I'm not sure's there's a better mover in tennis than 6'4" Alexander Blockx.

New York is a pretty great city.
In fact, I just booked myself a second week there.
Iga since Wimbledon: 12-1
Iga in NYC: dropped ten games to reach third round
Feels a lil like old times, she's in a good place. No guarantees of course, but always good to be in THE GOOD PLACE
Ann Li has chosen an interesting route - training and basing herself in Alicante, Spain for the last two years. Seems to have a lot of agency over her career at 26.
