Side-project I've been working on with a small team: Mortal Kombat demake for the NES, in a 5 Megabit cartridge using the classic MMC3 chip (same hardware as some 1991-1992 games).

The source code of Mortal Kombat for the good old NES is now public: github.com/FoxCunning/NES-MK…
This is a hack of the original Hummer Team bootleg from 1991.
Latest addition to my very modest #Ultima collection.
It's missing the map and one of the books, but for the price I couldn't say no 😁
Finally I don't have to be jealous anymore as I found a complete copy of the Amiga version for a similar price 😁
This is the only #Ultima game that I have never completed on a computer — I'm not counting the NES version as that feels like a completely different game.

Please consider voting for Ultima to join the Strong Museum Hall of Fame. It would encourage them, and myself, to get together and create a worthy display for the series!
Thanks, Richard Garriott / Lord British
It's not a big collection, or an expensive one, but I love every single one of these games...

Latest addition to my modest #Ultima collection. I love the art and detail on the box.
New Year also means balloons day for me, so I'm enjoying a little present I bought myself for the occasion.
That's one #Commodore64 game I did not remember owning... I guess it's an even more budget release of the Mastertronic game. Or a weird pirate version, even.
Quick test on real hardware (using an Everdrive N8 Plus) for the #NES #MortalKombat demake/hack...
Speaking of spooky games, this is still my favourite version of #ResidentEvil
Working again on delta modulation samples for the #NES #MortalKombat demake/hack.
I need to make room for two new samples. Some trickery is required, and hopefully it won't sound too bad (DPCM samples on NES are always a bit dodgy).
This must be one of my favourite videos from @8BitShowAndTell
After all, the C128 is my favourite computer.
A new video about C64 Mode on the Commodore 128 - we'll find some (rare) examples of C64 games that don't work on the C128, and where possible determine why and fix them.

738 bytes to implement endings in our #NES #MortalKombat demake.
That is, 738 bytes for the code. Graphics and music are in separate banks.
