Adam Driver confirms that he co-wrote the screenplay for THE HUNT FOR BEN SOLO before the movie was cancelled.
“We tried to do one more, but they were like, ‘He’s dead.’... [Steven] Soderbergh was going to do it. We worked on it for three years. Seriously and earnestly for two years. We got a script together that was really good with Scott Burns, Rebecca Blunt, and Soderbergh and I. It was really awesome.”

This actually hasn't diminished my hope at all. I'm glad I watched the clip instead of just going based off people's tweets.
Of course Adam could be lying AGAIN (I don't think so this time), but I do think there's stuff cooking for his character he's not aware of. We just need to give it time. It will get revived.

To me, the interview is kinda giving the same energy as the one where Kevin Feige he said Adam always passes on Marvel movies. Look what happened there. Keep the faith!

I still stand on ten toes that Mr. David Cowboy knew what he was doing with that mind trick as well as the particular type of fuel it would pour on the fandom
