For those who, like me, love a good bit of complex geopolitics, here’s a great thread to help understand what’s at stake
Trump’s new tariffs aren’t a trade tweak—they’re the first move in a full-spectrum reset. $9.2T in debt matures in 2025. Inflation lingers. Alliances are shifting. One announcement just set a dozen wheels in motion. Here’s what’s really happening—and why it matters 🧵

Disciple-making isn’t a solo project—it’s a journey we walk together. But here’s something I’ve been learning: without mutual admiration, discipleship falls flat. Read my latest post for @WesleyanAccent @worldmethodist worldmethodist.org/foundatio…

Today’s inauguration has one clear winner… Carrie Underwood! In an age of technology, autotune, backing tracks, and the like… she pulled off an unexpected acapela performance.

Looks like @NYTGames messed up the word #Hanukkah today by spelling #hannukah , corrected it quietly, but didn’t acknowledge it 😬😬😬 Went back to check and it had been fixed

Is belief alone enough? 🤔 In James 2:18-24, we're reminded that true faith comes alive through action. Faith isn't just words—it’s lived out by serving, loving, and standing up for those in need. 💪❤️

📖✨ Discipleship isn't a "Do-It-Yourself" project! While we love a good DIY challenge, faith was never meant to be tackled alone. True discipleship means walking together, learning from each other, and letting the Word transform us in community.

Tim is a dear friend. Proud of him, and thankful for his service.
On #NationalPurpleHeartDay I had the honor of presenting SPC Timothy Britt Jr. with his Purple Heart Medal. Today, we recognize SPC Britt and all Purple Heart recipients for their service and sacrifice to our country.

Here’s a 🧵with my best (current) thoughts on Christian accountability and the church. I believe accountability is a means towards sanctification. We (should) practice it on a personal level to help people flourish in life with integrity.

He knew something that John Wesley discovered centuries later: There is no holiness outside of social holiness. In other words, since we’re built for community, it is in the context of community that we grow in sanctification. On our own, we get in trouble. (End of thread 🧵)
