Gutted to learn that I appear to have been scammed on @vintedUK. My first buyer experience and it's a real shame. Sold a fair few things and never had a problem.

This is the caliber of Labour supporter these days, racist to the bone, but too cowardly to admit it.
If there's a snap election, Scottish Labour should use this tweet in all their campaign materials in urban areas

Give it a fucking break, you are utterly obsessed. Verging on full on stalker, you creepy cunt.
Inexplicable. And did Meghan Markle make any further enquiries to the police about her father’s alleged crimes and any investigation into them? If not, why not? Why did none of them do anything if the claims were so serious? Why didn’t they seek to protect others?

Fuck me, this is a new level of stupidity 😂😂
Hate to be the breaker of bad news but if you was independent, which you're not, this would very clearly be our oil field
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The map's red line does not correspond to the official boundary for North Sea oil and gas which is a line of latitude at 55°50'N. Jackdaw at 56°54'N is north of this line in the Scottish sector. legislation.gov.uk/uksi/1987/2197… en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jackdaw_g… marine.gov.scot/information/sc…

Aww fuck up, ya daft twat. Cops enjoying themselves in shift is fine, they are clearly working at an event. People are much more likely to approach officers with a problem if they appear friendly. I'd rather them dancing at an event than arresting pensioners for holding signs.
This, for me, is a terrible look for British policing. It comes across as highly undisciplined and unprofessional. The British public pay police officers to uphold the law, maintain order and keep our streets safe. Not to dance around whilst on duty. Surely we should expect much higher standards from those entrusted with policing our country?

Oh no, what a shame. Never mind eh?
The Canary will be closed for the foreseeable future. As of today (Monday 19 October), the Canary will be closed indefinitely. After multiple attacks this year, from Lloyds debanking us to former employees spreading malicious lies on social media, the situation has become unsustainable, both financially and operationally. After 11 years, we take this action with deep sadness and regret. The extent of the lies, defamation, and harassment by ex-staff - coupled with the constant attacks by the state and those who’d see us destroyed - has become too much. However, it is not over. This week, we will publish what really happened at the Canary and push back against the vicious campaign against our team and us. We may be down, but we’re not out yet.

More than 2 hours between trains from Aberdeen to Insch is utterly shocking @ScotRail @StephenFlynnSNP are you going to start doing your job, and oversee & improve rails services like your supposed to be doing, or are you going to continue pissing about, misleading parliament?

Despite both of my trains being delayed today, I've had an exceptionally pleasant travelling experience. Kudos to @AvantiWestCoast, and to @LNER for pretty exceptional service. Our train services in the UK are not that bad, despite how much we moan! 😂

Looks like this might be replicated across the country
⁉️BREAKING: 'Security threats' at schools across Northern Ireland following an email signed "Allahu Akbar" and referring to "Sharia law" 🎤 Chief Reporter @jamesgould23 speaks to Education Minister @paulgivan about this developing story. It comes as a number of schools have been evacuated or closed after receiving an email claiming that "an explosive device" was located in their buildings. The Minister says the threats appear to be "not viable" and that a process is now underway to assess the situation. He also has a message for parents who are understandably concerned this morning. Around 160 schools across Northern Ireland received the email. The PSNI is now investigating.

This appears to also be happening in the North of Ireland!

Always a pleasure to travel with @AvantiWestCoast! Staff are very pleasant! Even gave the staff in the shop a USBC cable, as theirs was broken, and you'd think I'd given them a kidney. So thankful, and soo kind. Credit to Avanti!

Lorraine Kelly has shared why she thought it was important to include a trans character in her new novel, ‘The Island Secret’. The daytime TV icon’s book is a follow-up to her 2024 debut, ‘The Island Swimmer’, and sees the return of her trans character Freya.

Great discussions at the Your Party Anti-Racism in Action event yesterday in Birmingham. Racism, of all forms, has no place in our politics and our society. Massive thank you to all the great speakers and everyone who attended in person and online. @thisisyourparty

Heading back home after a fantastic anti-racism event for @thisisyourparty. Met some of my comrades and had a smashing time! I adore this job more than any job I've ever had, including my old dream job with the Scottish Ambulance Service. Ready to be back on my sofa though! 😂

Utter pish. Patients who have had a stroke must be treated within 4 hours of symptoms coming on, otherwise they are not a priority. After 4 hours, irreversible effects have happend. You have no idea when symptoms started, it's unwitnessed, therefore, no priority.
I am disgusted with the @NHS ambulance service. I’ve checked on my 84 yr old neighbour as she didn’t go to church, and she’s had a stroke. Called ambulance 3 times, but she wasn’t a priority.. Just had to carry her to a car to be taken to hospital.
