You’ll be pleased to hear that Gavin Ward is the referee

GOARN STOKE 🔴⚪️
Squad Update 🚨
- Million Manhoef could be back for tomorrow’s trip to WBA
- Ato Ampah not expected to take too long to recover from toe injury
The best bit…
Long term injuries are hitting personal landmarks but Robins is still reluctant to give timelines:
- Johansson and Bozenik have started running as they recover from shoulder surgery
- Junior Tchamadeu is “not too far away” although not quite imminent
- Baker working through tough past-surgery phase on ankle problem
- Mubama back at Stoke recovering from ligament injury
Everyone else is good to go 🔥

What is your predicted XI to face West Brom at The Hawthorns this Saturday? 🔥
Players coming to fitness as well as some new additions could leave our starting XI and especially the bench looking a lot healthier this week…
Stoke had been hopeful of signing Tyrique George from Chelsea until his first team appearances in Europe propelled him into the orbit of Premier League clubs (he made a deadline day loan move to Everton).
Ato Ampah has made an appearance in Europe and was likely to be in the next round of players stepping up from Chelsea’s academy - With this in mind, Stoke decided to sign Ampah as a more long term signing to prevent the missed opportunity occurring again.
The 19-year-old will complete rehabilitation on an injured toe at Clayton Wood then come straight into Robins’ first team plans.

Rak-Sakyi has said that Bosun Lawal was a big part of choosing Stoke 🗣️
“Agent Bos”
“I met him through a friend of a friend in football and we’ve been friends ever since. He’s a good player.”
The 23-year-old also explained that the club making wingers key men was also a huge reason for why he chose The Potters.

The transfer window is closed ❌
Stoke do have a deal sheet, so as long as this is submitted, we have up to 9pm to complete any ongoing deals.
Announcements can of course come at any time.
Jaden Dixon to Arsenal came out of nowhere
Very talented lad and i don’t know what happened for him to not get a sniff here… maybe this deal has been ongoing for a while?
Either way, £3.2m pure profit for a young lad who’s played a handful of senior games is good for FFP and boosts our budget for the summer.
Best of luck to him (shame it’s them though).
Favour Fawunmi is close to joining Leyton Orient on a season long loan.

A forward, probably a wide forward, is believed to still be on the agenda before the transfer window shuts at 7pm on Monday. There is still more than one name on the shortlist as business goes down to the wire in what is notoriously a sellers’ market.
Robins is determined Stoke will not panic and even a loan deal – Stoke have one match day loan slot still vacant – would have to be the right deal and right value.

Team News 🚨
- Gibson and Wilmot back in training and available for selection.
- Lawal returns from suspension
- Milan Smit available to play after signing for The Potters
- Baker working hard for return but not ready yet
- Bazunu, Johansson, Tchamadeu, Mubama, Gallagher and Bozenik still in the treatment room
Crystal Palace winger Jesurun Rak-Sakyi has decided to join Stoke City on loan with an obligation to buy
Potters are aware of his knee issue but are willing to take risk to sign the 23yo
There was late interest from Monaco, but JRS already chose Stoke.
@joekrishnan
Ben Wilmot and Ben Gibson are hoping to return to action on Saturday, alongside Lawal returning from suspension and the arrival of Milan Smit - Giving Stoke an extra four senior players compared to what travelled to Birmingham last weekend.
Unsure on the length of Bazunu’s injury!
Robins made a comment about August, but on Facebook Live today, Pete Smith stated it was 6 weeks of which we have already passed 1.5 weeks
This should see him back at the end of February.
Not only have we had a seriously injury riddled squad lately, but we have actually been playing some of the most in form teams in the league.
In our last 5 games, we have played 3 of the current top 4 in form teams.
Norwich and Hull have won every game except for where we beat them - Whilst Boro took the 3 points from the bet365.
Remarkable how we’re still performing and picking up points.
Excited to see some players start returning now, as well as new additions coming into the fold.
Don’t count us out yet!
Stoke City are expected to continue the hunt for another forward in the final week of the January transfer window.
The transfer deadline passes at 7pm on Monday, February 2 and a forward or wide player seems at the top of the agenda although a midfielder isn’t ruled out either.
A new defender is unlikely, particularly after players showed their versatility in the last few weeks, and Tommy Simkin has an extended chance to stake his claim in goal.
