On a serious note, Twitter has made some cool things possible. Early this year we (@TheQuakeLab) got to redistribute 10k of our profit to random people (prioritizing BIPOC and trans folks) in less than 24hrs. I don't think there's any other app where that would have been possible

The disability tax is real. We often can't work or are discriminated against. We have many extra costs just to survive. We can't save up much under disability benefits or we lose them. So if you see disabled folks repeatedly crowdfunding, keep your judgement to yourself 🤍✨
