Mad rocket scientist - views are my own. Dismayed Brexit and all it represents. Never give up hope of re-joining and regaining EU citizen rights taken from us.

There is a bit of an aurora this evening and a G3 Geomagnetic storm. This is Winter Hill mast seen from the southern side of the hill.

Please repost if you want Andy Burnham to work to restore our EU Freedom of Movement as soon as possible. It was robbed from us by the worst abuses of democracy in modern British history. – at Brighton, England

Finally retuned the 440-450MHz DCI filter to 430-440MHz. Not an easy job as they are not adjustable. Not quite as good as the original, probably needs more tuning but good enough

I designed a case for the PTT multiplier board from 2024 in FreeCAD. Now I am waiting for it to finish printing.

De retour en France, et j'espère que ce ne sera pas la dernière fois pour une réunion de l'ESA. Content d'être de retour.

Interesting - I must be getting old. Apart from Oasis, I never listen to any of these, even though I do listen to many current groups, not just oldies. I see they are mostly solo artists rather than bands. Why is that? bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c78x…

J'est, encore en France. The first time this year. Not so many of these trips left. I do so wish we had free movement back. It should never have been stolen from us.

I have done a re-spin without the 7805 regulator as with testing it seems the buck regulator built into the nano-every is a lot more capable than the linear one in the nano v3. Enough to power the LCD and Bluetooth without getting hot. Next job, design a 3D printable case.

Sad to hear #ScottAdams has passed away. Only 68 years old. I will miss his Dilbert cartoons.

– at Saint-Denis, France

Encore en France. Ce qui me surprend le plus, c'est que je peux partir de chez moi à 9h30 et être en France quelques heures plus tard. – at Saint-Tricat, France

Under 5 hours from my home in Harwell to my hotel near ESA HQ in Paris. Some ESA folks think Harwell and ECSAT are at the back of beyond. But how long does it take to get to ESOC, ESTEC or ESRIN from Paris? Not much more. Let's embrace all the ESA establishments as equally great. – at Paris, France

Back in blighty, Kent, the garden of England, not that you can tell the difference between this and northern France, but good to be on the way home after my most challenging programme board. Looking forward to the challenges of the next few weeks.
