I know what this post is trying to say and I'm not saying its wrong but a lot of NT ppl are just as inflexible and thoughtless with their social behaviors
For example, the most common dinner conversation topic in my family is sports, something I don't care about. Which means----
---family likes even though I PERSONALLY don't really care about sports IS a good way to practice some social skill, but its the fact that it only goes one way is precisely WHY many Neurodivergents harbor such a bitterness for NT dominated social norms. Rarely do my family ever--

the thing that makes advice like this unhelpful is that it fails to understand what a social norm actually is or how they work, social norms are not inherently good or bad and “learn to follow social norms” is not good advice unless you’re not actually talking about social norms.
Ace Attorney has always been a little on the nose but lets not pretend like the later games aren't about as subtle as a sledgehammer.
I mean, this is a real moment in the same game that gave us the ever-classic "Dark Age of The Law"
ace attorney fans: wow the new games are so tactless. i cant believe they mention 'the dark age of law' so freely. i miss when shu takumi wrote the games... he'd never do this to us...
shu takumi: this is my oc she's called 'darklaw'
ALT A digital drawing of Darklaw from Professor Layton Versus Phoenix Wright, a purple haired woman dressed in high class medieval attire, with a gold clawed glove. Her expression is angry, and her pupils are drawn as slits. The background depicts a fancy hall, with latticed windows and golden candlelabras.

Some thoughts below.

This demo is unlike any other version you've heard before. Premiering in 40 minutes on the Magic Railroad Archive channel: youtube.com/watch?v=DhsnF-xF…
"Percy's Driver & Fireman had run clear, leaving Percy to face Boulder alone!" Is so fucking funny to me not just for how quickly these bastards abandon the most innocent engine but also for the fact that before hearing that narration I'd never noticed them in the shot before 😭
To be completely fair to the Crew, they didn't really have time to move Percy anyway 😭
