Every day, countless people live with mental health challenges. Some struggle in silence, burdened by stigma and discrimination. Others find strength in sharing their experiences, turning adversity into hope and inspiring change.
As Lesotho joins the world in commemorating World Mental Health Day 2026 under the theme, “Lived Experiences Heard: Real Voices, Real Change,” we recognize the courage and resilience of those who have navigated mental health challenges.
Their voices are essential in shaping a more inclusive, compassionate, and responsive mental health system.
In this documentary, we hear directly from people with lived experience, their families, health workers, and advocates.
Their stories challenge stigma, foster understanding, and remind us of the importance of creating a society where seeking help is encouraged, support is accessible, and every voice is heard and valued.

Most breast lumps are not cancer.
Breast lumps that are cancerous are more likely to be successfully treated when they are small and have not spread to nearby lymph nodes.
