I know alcohol sales are down, but tough to see Jose Cuervo picking up gigs as a college soccer referee.
Ridiculously fun + versatile on the offensive end. No reason that 4+ double-figure scorers shouldn’t be the expectation every night. Might have 7 different leading scorers.
Just gotta keep getting better defensively!
So awesome when a kid puts in work for a few years, then delivers when his number is called.
Shooting is good enough to get some minutes, and defensive effort and toughness will keep him out there.

My biggest take away is this UNCW team is going to be dominant on the boards. The size, athleticism, and genuine instinct translated very well today in that regard.

Nice bounce back performance for the Seahawks. Plenty to like about this team. The effort was great today
CJ Luster finished with 20 points today -- huge bounce back after a tough outing at High Point.
Came off the bench today, and it seems the message was received.
UNCW shot 52 percent from the field and won 41-22 on the boards.
Seahawks had a 39-32 edge last weekend at HPU, too.
This team has a chance to really dominate on the glass.
UNCW beats UNCG 97-87 in the final exhibition game.
Don't have the final numbers, but Patrick Wessler around the 20-point mark, with Makel Smith, Tyler Nelson, and Xavier Brown all in double figures.
Defense remains a work in progress, but the offense got rolling today.

HALFTIME:
UNCW 51
UNCG 45
The Seahawk offense already looks like it’s in mid-season form as Makel Smith has 11. The defense has been very shaky throughout the half.
10 minutes til they go back to work!

Seahawks allowed 49 points in the first half at High Point, and 45 today vs. UNCG.
UNCW allowed an average of 32 points in the 1H last season and only allowed 45+ once.
UNCW leads 51-45 at the half.
Siddle, to Marty, as he heads off: "We're not defending worth a damn."
Halftime message: "Do what goes into winning — and that's defending and rebounding, and we're not doing it."
Glad to hear CJ Luster finding some rhythm today. Had a really rough one at High Point and couldn't get anything to fall.

Defense could use some work but the offense has been firing on all cylinders.

UNCW leads UNCG 17-13, 11:52 1H.
Based on the @RadioMikeV call, sounds like both Xavier Brown and Tyler Nelson have both knocked down 2 3-pointers already.
Xavier Brown was a career 34-percent 3-point shooter before coming to UNCW.
Seems he's been working hard on that, because he's knocking them down with confidence in the preseason.
