LEGENDARY: When iconic #Vikings wide receiver Randy Moss threw a touchdown to fellow Minnesota legend Cris Carter.
🔥🔥🔥
One of the coolest plays in Minnesota sports history — two of the greatest of all-time.
You can become who you it is God meant for you to become, or you can become your reasons for not fulfilling it.
God calls us to relenquish control, not responsibility.
You cannot control the situation, but the situation doesnt have to control you.

“The Son of God became a man to enable men to become sons of God.” - C.S. Lewis
You might not be able to figure how this all works out in the end… but I can promise you that God has already done the math.
Take courage.
You’re doing better than you think ✌🏽
The Holy Spirit is not an “app” you run to get more ‘fruit’ your life. He’s the operating system intended to run the whole show.
The fruit of the Spirit is the natural overflow and output of a heart running on God’s OS.
It is a mistake to resent your difficulties.
Embrace them.
They represent your opportunity to become more than you were.
They say pay attention to who isn’t clapping when you win - but I say a better use of your energy is to pay gratitude, and pay it forward to those who do.
Better to embrace the pain of falling short from which you can learn and grow than to accept the shame of stopping short, from which there is no return.
Best to go ALL IN.

You've Got Purpose.
Your Life Has Meaning.

“Once you have made the world then end, and faith the means - you have won your man…and it makes little difference what end he is pursuing.” -Screwtape
"The list of what lasts forever is very short.
Most of what gets our time and energy isn't on it.
Get clear and live in the light of what matters." -@LoyRick
The truth is the version of me I’m called to be looks less like me and more like Jesus.
What is the purpose of the Christian life?
"The student is not above the teacher, but everyone who is fully trained will be like their teacher." - Jesus in Luke 6:40
"My dear children, for whom I am again in the pains of childbirth until Christ is formed in you," - Gal 4:19
"In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus..." - Phil 2:5
"And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate[a] the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit." - 2 Cor 3:18
"Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears,[a] we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is." - 1 John 3:2
"And just as we have borne the image of the earthly man, so shall we bear the image of the heavenly man." - 1 Cor 15:49
"For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son" - Rom 8:29
"until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ... Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ.: - Eph 4:13,15
"He is the one we proclaim, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone fully mature in Christ." - Col 1:28
"So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness." - Col 2:6-7
"Do not lie to each other, since you have taken off your old self with its practices and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator. Here there is no Gentile or Jew, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave or free, but Christ is all, and is in all." - Col 3:9-11
All of this reminds me of what C.S. Lewis wrote - "Every Christian is to become a little Christ. The whole purpose of becoming a Christian is simply nothing else.
He also wrote, "The Church exists for nothing else but to draw men into Christ, to make them little Christs."
Or these...
"To become Christ-like is the only thing in the whole world worth caring for, the thing before which every ambition of man is folly and all lower achievement vain." - Henry Drummond
"Being a Christian is more than just an instantaneous conversion—it is a daily process whereby you grow to be more and more like Christ." - Billy Graham
"He that would be conformed to Christ's image, and become a Christ-like man, must be constantly studying Christ Himself." - J.C. Ryle
"To be in Christ is the source of the Christian life; to be like Christ is the sum of his excellence; to be with Christ is the fullness of his joy." - Charles Hodge
"The steady discipline of intimate friendship with Jesus results in men becoming like Him." - Henry Emerson Fosdick
"Christ is the most perfect image of God, into which we are so renewed as to bear the image of God, in knowledge, purity, righteousness, and true holiness." - John Calvin
"How do we bring glory to God? The Bible's short answer is: by growing more and more like Jesus Christ." - Sinclair Ferguson
I believe Jesus came into this world to teach us to become citizens of the kingdom of God. This is why he taught so often about the kingdom of God being like various things. Jesus is the ultimate embodiment of kingdom living...becoming like him is the ultimate expression of life in the kingdom. This is not that we become the divine Son of God but that the Holy Spirit transforms us into his likeness, transforms our character and our desires to be more and more conformed to Christ with it all climaxing in the resurrection of our bodies to be raised to be with Him forever.
