I stopped by the market while coming back from work because I suddenly missed eating waterleaf soup made with bitter leaf and eguisi.
The last time I bought waterleaf, it was ₦400. Today, the woman told me one bunch was ₦1,000! And that it is even cheap now.
I had to pause and tell her I wasn't buying three but one,she said that was the price.
Ladies and gentlemen ,I abandoned my soup plans and used my money to buy bottled water instead.
As I type this, I am drinking my water because this heat is not smiling.
At this rate, the soup can wait 🥱
How much is a bulb of water leaf in your area??
Grand rising beautiful people.
May our efforts not be in vain, and may we have reasons to smile before the day ends.
Happy beautiful Thursday!

The best way to handle pressure sometimes is by putting my phone on DND.
Between work, personal ambitions, and expectations from loved ones and acquaintances, life can get overwhelming. Everyone needs something from you, even when you’re still figuring things out yourself.
You cannot keep pouring into others when you’re running on empty.
Sometimes, you need to disconnect, clear your head, and reorganise your thoughts.
You’re not selfish for being unavailable. Sometimes, you need to withdraw from the world to put your own world in order.
A woman just shared something with me while I stepped out to get lunch.and this made me realize that some people are not afraid of failure.
They are just afraid of trying their best and still not getting the life they have been praying for.

Never forget who stood by you when life was falling apart. Plenty will celebrate your success, but the ones who supported you when you had nothing deserve a special place in your heart.

Hard work and consistentcy will certainly take you to a greater level in life , good morning friends of Kenzii 👋
A man had been dating a lady for almost two years. When he finally decided to visit her family for marriage, things took a turn he never expected.
According to this guy,, the lady's mother said she wanted the marriage list, drinks, bride price and everything that came with the traditional marriage to be handed over to her.
Her reason? She was the one who raised the daughter, took care of her and did everything for her. The girl's parents were divorced, and her father was no longer living with them.
But the man disagreed. He argued that, according to the tradition he knew, the father should be involved in receiving the marriage items, even if the parents were no longer together.
The disagreement became heated, and the man left. When he got home, he told his girlfriend to pack her things because he could no longer continue with the marriage.
I understand that the mother may feel she deserves recognition for everything she sacrificed to raise her daughter. But what happens to the lady??
Now here is the question,
Is the mother wrong for wanting the marriage items and bride price handed over to her because she raised her daughter?
Is the man right to insist that tradition must be followed?
Should a disagreement like this be enough to end a relationship of almost two years?
