A unique edition of our “What’s Next?” series this week, featuring Berne-Knox-Westerlo’s Dayne Coates! After a stellar basketball career with the Bulldogs, winning back-to-back Section 2 titles, making two state finals appearances and claiming the program’s first-ever state championship, Dayne is closing the door on his hoops journey to pursue FOOTBALL in college, and will be attending @HudsonValleyCC in the fall! The one caveat is that Dayne hasn’t played organized football since he was a freshman. He was hurt his sophomore year, and then BKW didn’t have a varsity program the last two seasons. So, he took it upon himself to stay in football shape, doing drills and workouts on the side. Dayne has lofty aspirations for his football career, which he believes HVCC - a program headed by @CoachDonJones - will help him reach. @HVCCFootball @HVCCVIKINGS
