Martin Ho showed his frustrations with the level of officiating in the WSL after Tottenham's 2-1 defeat to Arsenal in the north London derby. The Spurs boss said: “There was one early in the game which hits Baum’s hand, it’s the same distance, and then that [Morris penalty incident] happens in the box and it’s given, and they can’t even give you an explanation. “It’s got worse. The refereeing this year has got worse than it was last year. I’m going back in [to see them] in a minute.” thecutback.com/p/ho-takes-ai…

Players in the NWSL will no longer need to meet eligibility criteria in order to qualify for a High Impact Player contract. The change comes as a result of a settlement between the NWSL and NWSLPA. It's one of six grievances settled between the two parties. The Cutback first reported in May that the NWSL was considering amending the policy to remove specific criteria. From January 2027, players will now qualify as long as their salary equals at least 12% of the base salary cap. The league retains the power to set a limit on the number of HIP players at a club. #NWSL
