Recently authored a white paper w/ Wisk on Urban Air Mobility (UAM) in the U.S. based on qualitative & quantitative research conducted by Hypothesis.
Flying taxis are a lot closer than you’d think. Electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL).
Oh, and they won’t have pilots.
What do consumers think about self-flying #airtaxi services? Is there demand? If so, what’s driving it? Find out if consumers are ready for a world where everyday flight is a reality in our consumer research whitepaper.

We’re training AI to get better at the details designers care about.
A button can look right but still use the wrong component. An edit can fix one detail and break another. The goal is AI that follows the designer's lead, not just produces a plausible design.
That goal shapes how we train and evaluate our first-party editing model for the Figma agent, with our designers helping define what good looks like.
Our engineering team shares how we're doing it, and what we're learning along the way. 👇
If unchecked, I worry this means AI slop is going to expand from Visual + Text AI slop to Functional AI slop.
“9. It looks like They're merging Cowork into Claude dot au which tells you the chat box era is ending and the "go do the work for me" era is here.”
My quick takeaways on the Anthropic S-1:
1. This is a historical moment
2. $6.6M in revenue per employee!! Hard to even comprehend how good that is but Anthropic is AI native as it gets so makes sense.
3. I always thought OpenAI would drop their S-1 first
4. Customers spend about 9x more after a year. Net Revenue Retention is approximately 900% as of Sep 30, 2026. Good SaaS companies brag about 120%.
5. Cowork is growing faster than Claude Code did. Goes to show you the demand for consumer products. Duo will probably rip.
6. 3 years ago this company did $41M in revenue. In the first six months of 2026, it did $16.3 billion. I don't think anyone has a mental model for that curve yet, I sure don’t.
7. Nearly half of revenue comes through cloud marketplaces. About 48% comes from customers buying through them. Big companies buy where their budget already lives, and the lesson for founders selling to enterprises is to get listed where your buyers already spend.
8. Their run rate formula is published: the last 28 days of usage times 13, plus subscriptions times 12, which i guess is the new ARR math for founders?
9. It looks like They're merging Cowork into Claude dot au which tells you the chat box era is ending and the "go do the work for me" era is here.
10. Thousands of Anthropic employees are about to become liquid at once, so expect the biggest wave of new AI startups and angel checks San Francisco has ever seen. Reminds me when Facebook went public but this is way bigger.
Let’s go!
11. Buried in the filing, Anthropic says the gap between what Claude can do and how widely it's used is one of its biggest growth opportunities, so the company itself is telling you the models are ahead of the market and someone has to close that gap for dentists, landlords, and plumbers.
12. Whatever happens, exciting times to be building in AI.
Since the time I started dogfooding the early versions of Code Layers I have not looked back once. Having variants/versions in front of you alongside other assets on the canvas is just such a better experience/more intuitive to me.
As I get my hands more and more on @figma's Code Layers, it feels so meta. Unreal.
Such a big bet on turning the Canvas into.. a solid, super advanced creative brain.
Every moment with Code Layers is a WTF moment.
100%.
Time for people to be held accountable for what they share again, regardless of how it was made.
That was a wild/exciting couple of yrs, but AI shouldn’t be an acceptable scapegoat for subpar outputs - it’s not fair to everyone else that comes across it.
The onus of quality is on the sharer.
Figma CEO Dylan Field: AI Slop Is Creating a Trust Problem at Work
“I'm already hearing from so many like, ‘Ugh, I got another deck made by AI today. And I don't even know if the person who made it, like, I don't know if they read it. Do they even know what's in their deck?’
And at Figma, we actually made it so that, it was just a simple thing, but we said, ‘Hey, if you are using AI in your writing of any kind, just put at the top ‘Written with AI.’
And it makes it so that we can all trust that when we see something, we know that it's been cared for enough that it's worth your time to process.
And I think that we're gonna see some bifurcation here around trust, and one way to get trust is to do something with your hands.”

Figma CEO speaks out on Claude Design: “It's easy to mistake model progress for product progress.”
Friedberg:
“How worried were you when they came out with Claude Design, relative to what you guys were offering? Because the market looked at it and said, ‘Oh my God, Figma's dead. Claude is going to crush Figma.’
Dylan Field:
“The nature of online discourse right now is, ‘We're so back, it's so over.’ And it's just a cycle, right?
I think it's easy to mistake model progress for product progress.
The reality is a tool like Figma has taken a very long time to build and a very long time to make sure that we get the workflows right for our users, and we still have work to do.
They've made Claude Design into a product that is broad. So it's trying to do a lot of things. Like, you'll see posters and stuff as well, like graphic design scenarios, I believe, when you go to their homepage.
And maybe they'll do well in some areas and not other areas. I'm not bullish or bearish on the product. I think it's just hard to make good design tools for professionals.”

Extraordinary time at our Config India in Bangaluru this week. The energy was insane, and it was so wonderful meeting so many builders doing such interesting things at the edge of possibilities.
Thank you for welcoming @Figma with such warmth, for sharing your work and ideas, and for the excitement around the new capabilities/primitives we announced this week. I can’t wait to see what you build with them!

Introducing Specs! A new medium for markdown on the Figma canvas.
You can think of Specs as a container for your context. Use MCP, Github, etc to move context in/out of Figma and across the Figma platform.
Specs is rolling out in open beta over the next few weeks!
Can't believe @figma's Config India is next week! Putting final touches on my Leadership Collective session - will be sharing FRESH research on shifts builders & teams are going through, the growing role/importance of design, and strategies for leaders. (will be streamed, too!)

Figma Agent is now GA!
At Figma, we're not looking to replace designers. We're looking to maximally empower designers.
With this release, Agent is now faster, higher quality and excellent at removing tedium from your everyday work.
Perhaps most importantly, we've improved the Agent's ability to find the right context. As a result, you can prompt less extensively... and you're able to work closer to the speed of thought.
Still tons to improve. For example, while Design System adherence is better than before, it isn't where we want it to be yet. (More on this soon.)
Please give it a spin and let us know what you think!
