Keegan Murray still being forced to guard quick star point guards, he’s a great defender, but that has always been absolutely ridiculous to me.
But when you consistently have a terrible defensive backcourt I guess there’s nothing else you can do.
We saw this in the summer league with Acuff, took him a game to get used to NBA summer league length, now seems to be happening in the real show.
He’ll figure it out.

The 2024 draft class was bad, Reed Sheppard went 3rd and we still don’t know what he is. 2025 was top heavy. Let’s see what the “college shooters” from the 2026 class do.
This should be the forward thinking approach for the Kings. Take 2nd draft swings. Magic don’t want to pay, if trade talks are on the table the Kings need to be all over it.

The Orlando Magic are reportedly unwilling to offer Anthony Black the same contract Brandin Podziemski received from the Warriors, per @WindhorstESPN

With all that being said, I don’t know what Malik Monk has to do to get right, but he just flew up the board in terms of importance for the Kings this season.
And De’Andre Hunter needs to look in the mirror and remind himself it’s a contract year.
