My daughter got on the bus after school like any other day. Halfway home she felt it. The worst timing possible. Period. And of course she was wearing light-colored jeans.
She sat frozen, trying not to move, praying nobody would notice. When the bus stopped she stood up last, hoping to just disappear into the crowd.
A boy she’s never really spoken to (one year older, quiet kid) stepped in front of her before she could get off. He leaned in and whispered, “Hey… you’ve got a stain. Take this.”
He pulled his hoodie off and held it out. She shook her head, face burning, mumbled “I’m fine.” He didn’t move. Just said, real soft, “I’ve got sisters. It’s nothing. Tie it around your waist and walk.”

A company director fired his wife from the business they had built together after discovering she was pregnant by another man. The controversy was that she had been the one who financed the company when it was struggling, and her name was nowhere on the ownership documents.
They had been married for eight years. When they first started the business, he had the idea but very little money. She used her savings to rent their first office, bought equipment, and handled the accounts while he focused on finding clients. As the company grew, he became the public face of the business, and she remained behind the scenes.
They never signed a formal partnership agreement. She trusted him because they were married.

We checked out of an Airbnb and accidentally left our groceries in the fridge.
Host texted 2 days later: "You left $80 worth of food, can I donate it?"
I said yeah.
She just sent a photo. It's her 3 kids having a feast on OUR floor. Caption: "They said thank you for the best dinner."
I didn't even remember buying half that stuff. They made it look like Christmas.

A man walked into a phone shop and asked the owner, “How much is your cheapest phone?”

The man checked his pocket, counted his money, and left.

I nearly got scammed out of $1,700 because I thought my manager was helping me get a promotion.
It happened on a Tuesday afternoon. I was at work when I received a WhatsApp message from my manager.
Manager: “Congratulations. Your promotion has been approved. I’ll send you the details shortly.”
Me: “Thank you, sir. I really appreciate it.”
A few minutes later, he sent another message.
Manager: “Send me your full name, department, staff ID, and other details. HR needs them to prepare your promotion letter.”
I sent the details he requested.
Then he asked for $1,700.
Manager: “You need to pay the promotion processing fee. Once the payment is confirmed, your letter will be released.”
Me: “Sir, why do I have to pay $1,700 for a promotion?”
Manager: “It's an administrative requirement. The company will reimburse you after your promotion takes effect.”
I wasn't comfortable with the request, but I had been waiting for this promotion for a long time.
Manager: “Please make the payment today. I don't want you to miss this opportunity.”
I started thinking about where to borrow the money. Before doing anything, I decided to call him.
He answered.
Me: “Good afternoon, sir. I received your message about the promotion fee.”
Manager: “What promotion fee?”
Me: “The $1,700 you asked me to pay.”
Manager: “I haven't asked you to pay anything. What are you talking about?”
I explained everything to him.
Manager: “My WhatsApp account has been hacked. Don't send any money to anybody. I haven't sent those messages.”
I couldn't believe what I was hearing.
Someone had hacked my manager's WhatsApp account, collected my personal details, and was trying to take $1,700 from me.
I contacted HR, and they confirmed that promotion processing was free.
I reported the account and blocked it.
I nearly borrowed $1,700 to pay someone who was pretending to be my manager.
