It was obvious that they planned to slowly and secretly change the game. Firstly, January bl controversy which showed that infold wanted to make the game all inclusive and get rid of otome aspect + promote bl. Then July boycott showed that they also wanted to turn the game into a conveyor releasing new character every year with only introduction story, no further development, no fixing current problems.
