Alibaba Cloud confirmed a partnership with Theta: signing ceremony at Qwen Conference 2026, a named Alibaba exec quote, and Qwen3.8-Max + Flash live on EdgeCloud now. 🧵
On-chain: the burn spikes have faded. Daily absorption settled into a narrow 13–17% band; the 7-day line is ~15.0%, just above the September plateau.
Last month it came in lumps. The last three weeks it hasn’t. Cause still unknown.
A big name, confirmed and live. Network usage not moved yet.

TFUEL’s 7-day absorption line peaked at 18.2% on Oct 4. It’s now 14.1% — back around the September plateau, still well above the ~10% August baseline. 🧵
News: Weaver Labs (London, private 5G for stadiums) partnered with Theta. Per Theta’s post, Weaver “will utilize Theta EdgeCloud as a decentralized AI compute resource.”
Note the direction: last week Theta was ZAN’s customer. Here Weaver is set to use EdgeCloud.

Per Theta's own post, Theta registered as a developer on ZAN Router and uses it as an upstream provider. The model runs at ZAN. Catalog breadth, not network compute.
