I know we won’t see it properly until next season, once fitness has been built back up, but I am excited to see how Ekitike plays in this team. I think he is going to love it being in this refreshed and energised attack. #LFC

You have got to love Araujo for his commitment, can see he thrives in it too. Also thought MacAllister had a good game today, just did what he needed to. #LFC

Hard fought victory today against a tough opponent and in bad weather. Brilliant result. Massive confidence boost that. #LFC

Carrick is getting sacked tonight isn’t he? Which is not a surprise at all. Had him down as the first manager to go this season from the moment he was permanently appointed.

I see the MotoGP race in Australia has been cancelled due to bad weather. Wonder if the LFC v Brighton match will go ahead or not? Also got the F1 race and the Lakers v Jazz basketball game to watch today too. Sunday full of sport.

Planned on going into Manchester tomorrow to take my son MCR Monster spotting and do some Halloween stuff. Sadly looks like weather will be putting a stop to that. Also no chance Northern trains run properly either.

Much improved second half, disappointing to concede again at the end though. Wirtz made a difference coming on, but Rio was outstanding. Brilliant performance by him. #LFC

Liverpool with a very poor start but at least they have corrected it by half time with those 2 goals. They need to come out flying, pressing, playing with intensity in the 2nd half. #LFC

Woeful this by Liverpool. Nyoni and Rio standing out as two players trying to make something happen. Everyone else failing miserably, especially VVD. I think subs are needed now if they want to win…. #LFC

Bought that BeamNG driving game on my PS5 earlier today. Me and my son have had such a laugh playing on it this evening chasing and crashing into each other. £18 well spent. #BeamNG

Watching the 90 minute coverage of the LFC game on Sky Sports. That was 100% a foul and penalty on Wirtz. #LFC

Just watched the Matchbox movie with my young son. As films go it’s very basic, but for my son he loved it. The fighting, the car chases and crashes, the explosions. It’s a young lads type of film. He’s gone to bed dreaming of being a secret agent now.

What is with all these Patel courts. When the hype dies down, towns and cities are going to be left with empty padel courts everywhere.

Had a nice evening yesterday at Rainhill Beer Festival. Some great beers on, particular favourite was the ‘Rat Catcher’ by Spookton. Just wish it was the weekend already and I didn’t have to work today.

Just noticed there’s a new series of Portrait Artist of the Year on, and they have also changed the judges. Think it was about time the judges had a refresh and they mixed it up.

Decided to give Goldeneye a watch tonight as haven’t seen it in ages. Really surprised at how dated it looks for a 1995 movie, some scenes look like they are from the 80s. Still a great film, but it has made me feel very old.

Finished watching ‘Below’ this evening. What started out as a decent mystery drama, it turned into a really poor B-Movie style by the end. CGI, acting, story all fell off a cliff badly. #Below

Not a bad way to spend a Friday afternoon off work. 🍻
