Awareness on #airpollution as a serious matter of concern is growing. There's an urgent need to provide a platform for bridging the disciplinary gaps through scholarly dialogue & interdisciplinary exchange. So we've organised an air symposium on 25.06 👉 bit.ly/2IO9RHU

We will run a #Luftdaten air quality monitoring workshop at @sheffielduni on May 4th at 1400 hrs. You will get to keep the sensor too. We will probably ticket it to limited numbers so this is just a heads up if you want to put it in your diary. More info coming shortly.

Thanks to our @UrbanFlowsObs gateway on top of hicks building @sheffielduni , I can now connect to @ThingsSHF lora Network to send air quality data to @luftdaten without needing WiFi. Planning to build a few more to test in other places in Sheffield for our @CleanAirSheff – at Sheffield, England

Got the parts! Starting to build a Lora version of the @luftdaten to measure #AirPollution @CleanAirSheff Anyone has experience with ttgo Lora-esp boards? Eliminating the WiFi would reduce a lot of connectivity complexities. @thethingsntwrk @ThingsSHF @cleanairliveab1 – at Sheffield, England

We're so looking forward to these series of beginner to advanced deep dive #LoRaPHY sessions run by Anup!
The aim - to help participants to create an efficient #MACprotocol or better improve the #LoRaWAN, one must first know how the LoRa PHY works.
