The exhibition shows work from King’s archive but there is sadly too much here that is not historical. It is all scarily pertinent today.✊#designforchange

If you do one thing between 12.00 noon today (Friday) and 5pm tomorrow it should be to go to the David King design exhibition at Standpoint Gallery, Hoxton: standpointlondon.co.uk/galle… ▶️➡️🔜✊❤️

Lovely to be @stbridelibrary last night to celebrate the digitisation of their pre-1830s type specimens. Some gems shared by @PauloBarnesi including this unique specimen of typefounder Hugh Hughes. 👏👏👏

Too much design :—( We only have all the damaged copies left said the bookshop manager.

Thank you @eyemagazine for the tonic of #TypeTuesday @stbridelibrary this evening. So lovely to hear designers Giles Dunn, Hugh Williams, Sonya Dyakova + @typeasimage interrogating their book design practice with such integrity + rigour. Super-inspired!

🙏 Thank you @ecal_ch MA Type Design for such an inspiring visit 💭 and an amazing collection of ✨type specimens✨ – it was so lovely to hear about each of your graduation projects.❤️ Wishing you all the very best of type design times ahead! 👏👏👏

Happy accident! Detail from a church inscription from today’s happy countryside wanderings.
