"I have received information from inside Kot Lakhpat jail, through informal sources, that my sister Uzma Khan's blood pressure is also shooting up and she is not receiving any medical treatment. This is not natural. Like her other siblings, her blood pressure has always been genetically low to normal. The family has received no information from jail authorities. She had a heart valve replacement and her condition is vulnerable. She should be seen urgently by a cardiologist."

🇵🇰 Thousands chant "Revolution!" around the bodies of slain protesters in Pakistan-administered Kashmir.
Activists say at least 3 people were killed and 17 injured yesterday when security forces moved on a sit-in in Rawalakot.
The protesters belong to the Jammu and Kashmir Joint Awami Action Committee, a group demanding political and economic rights.
Their bodies were brought back to the protest site.
Accounts linked to the security forces called it "a decisive clearance operation" against "miscreants" holding public spaces hostage.
Authorities banned the group in June, and months of clashes in the region have since left dozens dead, police included.
Months of crackdowns haven't emptied the streets. If anything, they've filled them.
