Anorthosis 2-0 Omonoia Aradippou Anorthosis secured a valuable victory over Omonoia Aradippou in a match that offered little in terms of entertainment, marking a winning start for new head coach Barak Izhaki. Anorthosis were the better side throughout the encounter, controlling the tempo and making the most of their set-piece opportunities. Kiko played a key role in the opening goal, delivering the ball for Tosic to find the back of the net. The hosts added another goal in the closing stages following an excellent individual effort from Marios Elia. After doing the hard work, Elia provided a perfectly weighted pass to Rafa Lopes, who was left with a simple finish.
