I don’t think the Lions need to justify not giving the Packers, of all teams, any time to score. That decision was made with trauma in mind.
Jahmyr Gibbs goes down before scoring a TD to help run out the clock

It’s always the most random shit that gets likes
USC killed a century old conference and its most iconic rivalry to be the Missouri of the Big Ten.

Call the hotline. Please. Anyone who actually watches football knows this is the correct play 10 times out of 10 here.
Hahaha This play sponsored by Draftkings The NFL so rigged man. You never seen this shit 10+ years ago. Gibbs just sold Millions And saved the sports books Millions
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Lions RB Jahmyr Gibbs slid short of the end zone after getting the first down to keep the clock running and stop the Packers from getting the ball back. This set up their walk-off field goal for a 20-17 win. Coach Dan Campbell called it the right football play. bleacherreport.com/articles/25520… cbssports.com/nfl/news/lions… freep.com/story/sports/n…

It’s sad how Michigan getting a phantom second bail out at the start of the year was the opening act and it’s just gotten worse from there.
I don’t post this stuff often. But at both the NFL and college level, something has to be done about the over-officiating we’re seeing these days. I’m not emotional. Neither my college nor NFL team played this weekend. Didn’t care who won any of these games. But watching this Packers-Lions game - after watching football all weekend - it’s never been more clear. I think we’d all way rather they miss something that happened than call something that didn’t. Instead, officials are calling things that looked like they MIGHT have happened, not things that definitely DID happen. They are trigger happy. If it looks like it might have been (pick your infraction), that flag flies. Then often we see it DIDN’T happen. Football officiating is really hard. I get it. Officials are trying to get it right. But someone HAS to tell these dudes don’t throw unless you know. It’s killing the flow of games. And the cause of what seems to be more missed calls than ever. Any way, for what it’s worth.

The MLB basically fixed 95% of its officiating problem by adding ABS and challenges while every other sports league twiddles their thumbs as their refs completely change the outcome of games on a weekly or nightly basis

Fox News anchors slam Grand Theft Auto 6 for its violence, saying when you're 40 you shouldn't play violent video games, and even claiming you can play them on refrigerators and calculators. "It's just crime, anarchy, debauchery on the streets of Miami. And hookers."

Pat doesn’t get to be that over-the-top guy and be so thin-skinned. You either own it or stop doing it.
