@NDSUfootball has outscored opponents by 119 points this season, the best mark
through five games as a fully-fledged FBS program over the past 45 seasons.
The 49 points are also the fewest allowed through five games as a fully-fledged FBS program in that same period 🙌

Proud to stand alongside State Superintendent Levi Bachmeier and Rep. Mike Nathe as he announced a proposed bill that would offer North Dakota teachers an annual bonus to improve teacher retention and recruitment.
The Support Teachers and Youth Succeed (STAYS) stipend would create a teacher retention fund supported by 10% of the biennial distribution from the state’s Common Schools Trust Fund, funding an annual bonus for teachers working in North Dakota schools with an active teaching license.
We recognize the need for our educators to stay in the profession and continue to provide high-quality educational experiences for our North Dakota students.
We look forward to including this proposal in the governor’s executive budget recommendation to the Legislature.

I don’t expect NDSU to stay undefeated and make the playoff this year, but I would love to see NDSU v JMU on a fun destination bowl. Just not Frisco.

Who pays when healthcare costs stay hidden?
State budgets pay. Taxpayers pay. Families and businesses feel the impact.
ND Treasurer @ThomasBeadle: “Insurance and PBM costs have a direct impact to state finances.”
SC @TreasurerLoftis: “Businesses, employees and taxpayers all stand to benefit” from greater transparency.

What a great afternoon on the Capitol Mall! I was honored to join Special Olympics North Dakota athletes for some friendly competition at today’s bocce tournament.
The energy, sportsmanship and joy these athletes bring to every competition is inspiring. Thank you to Special Olympics North Dakota, the volunteers and everyone who helps create opportunities for athletes across our state to compete, connect and shine.

The state-based system of insurance regulation is not a regulatory gap. It is a strength worth defending.
Private credit, affiliated investments, valuation, liquidity and complex structures deserve scrutiny.
State regulators should be challenged and the system should keep evolving.
But start with the facts, not the premise that there is a regulatory vacuum.
Our job is to manage risk, not pretend risk can be eliminated.
For policyholders, the question is simple: when you pay premiums, is the promise there when you need it?
Changing the address of the regulator does not change the math.
Math isn’t political. Risk isn’t political. Solvency isn’t political.
Protect policyholders. Understand the risk. Keep evolving.
That is the state-based system.
State insurance regulators have long monitored changes in insurer investment strategies and market developments. In a letter, the NAIC outlines how regulators are addressing emerging challenges while maintaining strong policyholder protections. ow.ly/ZZos50ZRalQ
