It’s easy to preach revolution from a mansion. It’s easy to condemn a system when you’ve already extracted its benefits. The real test of your ideology isn’t what you say in front of a camera. It’s what you’re willing to sacrifice when the cameras turn off. Both of these clown ass niggas built their wealth and careers by participating in an American capitalist economy they now condemn. They profited from an industry that has exploited, degraded, and harmed black people for decades. Yet only after achieving wealth, comfort, and status have they decided to lecture the very people still struggling to climb the ladder they already ascended. The hypocrisy is the point. They enjoy the houses, luxuries, financial security, and opportunities capitalism provides while telling ordinary people that the system is fundamentally evil. But how serious are they about their convictions when neither seems willing to make the ultimate sacrifice: give up their wealth, leave the capitalist system behind, and live under the socialist model they champion?
