Today I have the great honour of being the Captain on @Airbus G-EUPJ; flying it alongside @Pilot_Holly from @ShannonAirport to @HeathrowAirport in the new amazing BEA livery. Photos don't do justice to how superb the new livery looks. Happy Birthday @British_Airways #BA100 #BEA
If anyone is half interested in golf watch the @Internetinvite on YouTube. Absolutely brilliant entertainment. So well edited and some amazing stories along the way #ripbeef

A statement from the family of Apollo astronaut Jim Lovell on his passing:
"We are saddened to announce the passing of our beloved father, USN Captain James A. "Jim" Lovell, a Navy pilot and officer, astronaut, leader, and space explorer. He was 97.
We are enormously proud of his amazing life and career accomplishments, highlighted by his legendary leadership in pioneering human space flight. But, to all of us, he was Dad, Granddad, and the Leader of our family. Most importantly, he was our Hero. We will miss his unshakeable optimism, his sense of humor, and the way he made each of us feel we could do the impossible. He was truly one of a kind."

History, St. Andrews style: As Tiger tapped in what might be his last putt at the Old Course, Sheila Walker watched from her upstairs window in the small building to the left. She is the great-great-granddaughter and only surviving relative of Old Tom Morris.

Was perhaps best @TheMasters Club Dinner I recall. Great company & conversation. Food was sensational! Best part was when Hideki Matsuyama, who doesn’t speak English well, gave a 3-min speech in English—without a single note. @GaryPlayer then responded. In Japanese. With notes.😉
If you are interested in golf then you have to watch this. @RickShielsPGA with the legend that is @NickFaldo006 Superb watch and really enlightening. EP122 - Sir Nick Faldo youtu.be/YDx5MCnhbYI via @YouTube

On the way home from Cairo this morning we had the most amazing crossing of the Alps. Timelapse video taken from 34,000 ft. Well worth getting up at 2am to experience views like this!

From the Paterson case to the Christmas parties…the credibility of those at the very top has been seriously damaged.
Why should people listen to the Prime Minister’s instructions to follow the rules when people inside Number 10 Downing Street don’t do so?
No to Plan B 👇
I don’t normally tweet on politics but I’m absolutely fuming at the utter shambolic government the British people have. @BorisJohnson you have lost the trust of the British people and you need to resign #BorisJohnsonOut
Massive congratulations to @danbrown212 on your play this season and qualifying for the @Challenge_Tour. Really well deserved and good luck for next season.
