Remember when Trump campaigned on releasing the Epstein files? Good times.
The Epstein scandal just got a whole lot uglier.
Newly released emails show Trump's White House helped edit the DOJ/FBI memo declaring there was no basis for further investigations.
The suggested edits? Redacted.
Think about that. The president's own staff had a hand in drafting the official explanation for why investigators should stop digging into a scandal involving his longtime former friend.
What exactly did the White House want changed?
Release the fucking edits.

This is like the epigraph for the entire Trump 2.0 presidency:
‘’I don’t give a damn. We’re making a fortune’
"We" are making a fortune.
Are you?
I am not.
If I were to add up the cost. $20 more a week in gas. $15 more a week in groceries. My electricity bill is up 13%, so maybe another $12 or so. $150-$200 more a month adds up, but I am glad he is killing it(I am not).
Back in 2008, Republicans were saying the same thing if Obama were to be elected, and of course it never came to be. This kid was probably still riding his tricycle back then, but it's amazing how another generation is getting sucked up into this nonsense.
I'll never understand how this can be done without specifying a crime for which they are being pardoned.
Trump White House attorneys are evaluating whether to issue mass pardons to junior staffers — as Trump allies press the administration to protect lower-ranked officials from prosecution and other legal challenges, according to two sources familiar with the conversations. washingtonsun.com/whitehouse…
We all need a little help sometimes, so it would be nice if you could help Mel out with what you can.
I could use your help with my fundraiser on GoFundMe. Please share, support, or donate—every small action counts. gofund.me/4410850ab
You know, in a normally functioning democratic society, we wouldn't need the President, the VP, and the controlling political party getting all of these community notes for lying.
And before you do it, MAGA... This website is not being run by a "libtard".
Vance: The media and the Democrats in the state of Ohio are obsessed because Vivek Ramaswamy had the audacity to run a TV commercial which calls it out like it is and calls Amy Acton a liar.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The ad features Amy Acton's estranged mother disputing Acton's account of childhood homelessness, rape and abuse. Both 1978 Mahoning County court records and Acton's brother, Phillip Stearns, corroborate her account of living in a tent and abuse.

It's a fucking shame that after 21 months having control of the White House, Senate, and House of Representatives, Republicans don't have one single piece of legislation to run on.
Nope, just fear and loathing.
I believe Abdul El-Sayed is Muslim Brotherhood.
If he were to win, Chuck Schumer could place him on the Senate Intelligence Committee. He would have access to the very highest level of classified materials.
There would be an unacceptably high risk that the lives of American servicemen and women would be endangered, because there’s every reason to believe El-Sayed would share that classified information with Muslim Brotherhood terrorists.
My question is... Will the DNC compensate JD Vance and Donald Trump for all of their work during this campaign season, helping Democrats in tight races?
