It’s a beautiful morning to start year 13! Excited to welcome students back on campus for the first day of school.
Had an incredible time at the @SW_MOASSP Assistant Principals Conference! Grateful to be able to learn & connect with fellow APs. Special thanks to Michelle Brenner for a fantastic presentation, Clark Mershon, Keith Robertson, & Jason Steele for their insightful discussions.
Acknowledging the achievement of our students who reached their NWEA goals with a celebration pancake breakfast today. A big thank you to parent volunteers, teachers, kitchen staff, and custodians for their contributions. Students, congratulations on a job well done.
We had 24 students compete in the Republic High School Archery Tournament this past Friday. Of those 24, 6 qualified for state with a score of 210 or higher. Those six are Caleb Matney, Brighton Newhouse-Vogt, Cameron Pannell, Yerik Souza, Aaron Welling, and Jasper Wright.
The adults are in class today! Branson educators, along with other surrounding districts, participated in the Tri-lakes Educational Summit. Teachers modeled lifelong learning, as they attended sessions to collaborate and shared best teaching practices and strategies. #TLES23
At the @SW_MOASSP meeting @straffordhs, we recognized some deserving administrators from around the region. Johnathan Wengert (MS Principal of the Year) Jack Harris (HS Principal of the Year), Jeremy Brown (Exemplary New Principal of the Year), & Robin Collins (AP of the Year)!
Grateful to have the opportunity to learn with a few of the excellent colleagues from BJHS at the Adaptive School Training. Collaboration builds a stronger foundation to help each student find success! Thank you @officialSPS for hosting and providing an excellent PD opportunity.
Junior high teachers in full collaboration mode, gearing up for the school year ahead. The combined effort and dedication they're putting into preparation is impressive. These are some of the most passionate educators I know. It’s going to be a great year. #ThisIsOurStory
While preparing for the school year, Dr. Harris impressively demonstrates stagecraft while leading professional development over Mike Rutherford's Artisan Teaching Themes.
Excited to learn from @ChadDumas today about Professional Learning Communities with members of the BJHS team and educators from around the district. Important work learning the why, what, and how of collaboration so we can meet the needs of all students. #summerlearning
