This 'Economic D-Day' situation is just another demonstration of the Trump Admin's on-going economic retardation. The days of the USD as the World's Reserve Currency were always numbered, but this stupid move just accelerated that process.

At the point now where I'm tuning out the minute I see anything "call of duty related". I love multi-player games, and I love arcade shooters, just not that one. One day they'll just stop making them, right? ... right??

Thought experiment: Redistribute the entire M2 money supply to every American. - Each adult receives roughly $85k - Average personal debt is over $69k - That's about $16k leftover, per adult Sounds good, right? - Median income is around $45k You prob make that in 4 months..

Realistically, this would destroy the economy and cause massive hyperinflation in the short term, and would leave everyone worse off than they were in the long term... but hey, at least we'd all be suffering equally!

Race hustlers love to point out "disproportionate" harm. It's a strange way of putting it. It seems to imply that the harm, at least at some level, is okay, as long as it's distributed proportionately. So to them, the cause of harm is less important than who is harmed.

I had 2 predictions this year: 1) Democrats would take the House and the Senate in the midterms. 2) Bitcoin would break below $50k. It's now halftime, and I think my odds are actually looking pretty good on both.

So much for the war being over in time for the midterms, huh?

Here we go again... Congress can never do simple things. For every good thing, they have to cram at least 100 bad things in too. They will focus all their messaging on the one good thing so you ignore the bad. It's happening right now with the Save Act. Get ready for the pork! ๐Ÿท

JD Vance's recent comments condemning laissez-faire is enough for me to disregard him entirely moving forward. It's not a misunderstanding, he's explicitly against sound economics. This is not a simple policy difference. This is a foundational disagreement.

Why hasn't the Department of Education been shut down yet?

Gotta give credit to Rand Paul for being the only person really pursuing Fauci. Most politicians have already forgotten the horrors of 2020.

We can't regulate AI any more than we can regulate guns and drugs.

Trump will disappoint you, again. I support a national right-to-carry, but remember his track record. Background checks. Red flag laws. Bump stock bans. Remember when he said, "take the guns first"? This is all just a smokescreen to distract from the disaster in Iran.

AI remixes of classic songs are great, but I think the real winners here will be the ghost writers. No longer do you need some shitty rapper, or a gatekeeping producer. Write the lyrics, prompt the vibes, generate, and revise to perfection. This is the way.

California's consideration for a net worth tax on billionaires is just another example of why they are the most economically illiterate state in the country. When it all collapses, they will suffer more than most.

Celebrating Father's Day during Pride Month is so fucking gay!

The US government and the Federal Reserve openly promote stealing 2% more of your purchasing power every year through inflation โ€“ that's the explicit goal โ€“ and then they have the nerve to call that "price stability"!

@grok how much purchasing power has the US dollar lost since the establishment of the federal reserve?

Real answer from Grok: The US dollar has lost approximately 96โ€“97% of its purchasing power since the Federal Reserve was established in 1913.

I would personally like to thank Josh Hawley for coming out in favor of a "living wage", once again proving that both Republicans and Democrats are economically illiterate.
