And we’re live! rooms.xyz/ios
We're < 36 hrs away from Rooms launching out of Beta and onto Apple's App Store, so I figured it's a good time to provide another behind-the-scenes update on Things for investors, friends, and anyone else interested. This is going to be long— you've been warned 😛

This is for the young progressives out there. When I was a bit younger, I was terribly disappointed with then President Bill Clinton, who signed the hateful DOMA and Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell into law. It seemed he had betrayed all of his values and the LGBTQ community that had helped get him elected. There was a part of me that said I would stand on principle and never vote for him again. But then I remembered, voting isn’t about loving everything about your candidate. Voting for me is about making a strategic move that will best advance the cause of democracy, freedom and peace for all people, even if my candidate of choice really, really let me down. I supported Bill Clinton for a second term, even though he had just signed DOMA into law, a law that said my love for my husband Brad was not enough to be legally recognized, not ever. Candidates aren’t perfect. We shouldn’t ever expect them to agree with us always, even on the most basic of things. But we cast our votes as a prayer for them to do better because we know they can, and their hearts are in the right place. Bill Clinton came around to supporting my community, without exception. It took time. We got there. So don’t waste your vote. Use it wisely, and make the decision, even if it’s hard, to back the best candidate for what the world needs, and to help prevent an utter catastrophe if, heaven forbid, the other one is elected.

It's been so much fun seeing my youngest son use this product. It's been helpful to me and @NatashaHoliday to use Super Teacher to reenforce foundational concepts :) Thank you for building education and tutoring that scales.

Our new paper on sustainability trade-offs in the beef industry shows that current global beef production is inefficient (in terms of costs & emissions) we could reduce emissions 34–85% without increasing costs. Led by Adam Castonguay @naturesustainab nature.com/articles/s41893-0…

WARNING. Someone using the phone number +1 (202) 7549885 is impersonating me. If you connect on a video platform with this number, you will see an AI-generated "deep fake" that looks and talks like me. It is not me. This is a new Russian weapon of war. Be careful.

Texas Gov. Abbott says the Uvalde school shooter had a "mental health challenge" and the state needed to "do a better job with mental health" — yet in April he slashed $211M from the department that oversees mental health programs. nbcnews.to/39VYlJE

We need to be very clear on this point: If Doug Mastriano becomes governor of Pennsylvania, there is almost no chance that a Democrat who wins the state in 2024 will get his or her electors certified. Here's why: washingtonpost.com/opinions/…
