Man City should get the book thrown at them, but It's bizarre to me that Chelsea have gotten away with murder. Every bit of silverware they won under Abramovich is as tainted as anything City have done.

Throwback to when Troy Deeney said this about former #THFC striker Harry Kane: 😅🤦♂️
“Can he head a ball better than me? No.
Can he control a ball better than me? No.
“When you’re winning a game in the 85th minute and you need someone to come on, HE CAN’T DO WHAT I CAN DO!” 🤣🤣
I can assure you, Kane could do anything Deeney can do, with his eyes closed…
🚨🎙️ Troy Deeny has BLASTED #THFC for their transfer business this summer: 😳
“Andy Robertson at left-back is of age now… you’re losing Djed Spence, who has had a fantastic World Cup, so you’ve actually got weaker in the wide areas.”
“Romero is better than the two lads they’ve brought in in Van Hecke and Senesi… So they’re now weaker at centre-back.”
“You’ve brought in Dubravka to be the third choice goalie, he’s probably their best goalkeeper.”
“Tonali, who I rate very highly, but also the kid Fernandes is NOT better than Kobbie Mainoo! He’s been relegated twice and people keep telling me he’s a top player… £85million is a lot of money.”
“They’ve got weaker in defence from what they had originally.”
“They’re spent what £250M-£300M, and we still don’t know who’s going to score them 10 goals this year.” 🤷♂️

It really is hard to comprehend that such a high percentage of football fans have such a non existent understanding of basic football economics. But this guy is apparently a journalist and presenter!?
How do you want it to work? You want a club to be able to underachieve for decades, without any European football, even get relegated and spend a few seasons in the championship - then come back up, stink the Premier League out for 3 more years, use your entire turnover to pay the wages at the same level as Barcelona and Real Madrid, then stumble upon a great manager who’s given you a few decent years and be able to spend like you’re this staple of the Champions League? That’s not the real world mate. Nor should it be.
Spurs are at last the beneficiaries of two decades of pragmatic economic planning and building that has now allowed them to take risks in the transfer market, whilst not breaching PSR. It’s so simple to understand. So you’re either choosing not to because it’s sexier that way, or you’re actually stupid. I wonder which one it is?
