Hot take: he made it a worse play
Throw was on a dime and Jeter never had to touch it
“ONE OF THE MOST UNBELIEVABLE PLAYS YOU WILL EVER SEE BY A SHORTSTOP!”
OTD 25 years ago, Derek Jeter came out of nowhere to cut off a throw from the outfield and nail the runner trying to score. The @Yankees, who were facing elimination, held on to win the game 1-0, then won the next two games to capture the series, and “The Flip” became one of the most legendary moments of The Captain’s career.

So, the folks at my local ABC affiliate, @ABC10, had a turtle wander into their parking lot, and instead of giving it a slice of pizza and releasing it into the storm drain (you know, to create a superhero), they took it back to the river.
Missed opportunity, if you ask me.
I'd like to propose a trade - we move the Yankees to Tampa and the Rays to New York
This is no way to sugarcoat this..
This is an absolute embarrassing showing by the residents of St Pete/Tampa tonight.
Your team is a group of overachievers and you have thousands of empty seats.
Absolutely pathetic!

Bela Bajaria has moved on from Netflix's failed attempt to buy Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD).
As the ink dries on the Paramount-WBD deal, and the newly-minted Skydance plots its vision, the content chief backed up her boss Ted Sarandos in saying that WBD was “always a nice to have at a certain price, not a must have at any price.”
“We were never going to [spend over the odds],” she told an audience at MIPCOM. “We are financially disciplined. We knew what we had and what the opportunity was.”

If you're on the buy side, I encourage all of you to have as many contacts as possible from the supply side. Speak to them and bounce ideas back and forth. It makes you a much better buyer.
Only surprising if you don’t follow State of Streaming because we rated Sony and Microsoft as ‘misunderstood and undervalued’ for their control of the connected TV device back in August.

Yea Netflix is the only streamer that can make hits out of competitor shows. $DIS is not stupid. They license their content to Netflix because they know it can get more reach than on @DisneyPlus . Which is why I find the 'nobody watches $NFLX 'narrative so stupid 🙃

This news about Apple blocking a long list of CDP's and data providers is crazy! And if you recall, @iab warned us about this exact situation in a David Cohen keynote at ALM in 2023. #adtech
