Thanks to everyone who stopped to chat at the Hadleigh Show at the weekend. It was a great engagement opportunity for @suffolkpolice and a chance for me to hear at first-hand how policing is affecting communities. A few concerns raised but on the whole very positive feedback.

Suffolk’s Chief Constable Rachel Kearton has today announced she will retire in October. We thank Rachel for her service and wish her every happiness in retirement. suffolk-pcc.gov.uk/news/suff…

Honoured to mark #IWD2026 with Norfolk & Suffolk Constabularies, reflecting on: Give to Gain. Women Through the Ages shared inspiring stories from retired officers across the 60s-80s. We heard from incredible women in policing today about their motivations & challenges.

Join myself and the Chief Constable, Rachel Kearton for a public meeting on 3rd March @ 6pm via Microsoft Teams. This is your chance to ask questions and share feedback on policing in Suffolk. 📧 Register: [email protected] 🔗 More info: suffolk-pcc.gov.uk

Would you be prepared to pay a bit more for policing next year? Depending on your council tax band this could amount to between 20p and 57p extra per week. Let me know what you think by completing this survey: smartsurvey.co.uk/s/PCCprece… Survey closes 2pm Thursday 29th January.

Earlier this week I joined our Independent Custody Visitors for one of their regular unannounced visits to Bury St Eds Investigation Centre. I was great to hear about the sterling work they do to check on the welfare of detainees. If you'd like to volunteer please get in touch.

I've signed off a decision to purchase Suffolk County Council’s share of Landmark House in Ipswich.   The building is currently jointly owned by the PCC on behalf of Suffolk Constabulary, and Suffolk County Council. suffolk-pcc.gov.uk/news/land…

Today I joined police officers and staff for a remembrance service at Police Headquarters. We will remember them.
