“…with applicants who place 15% to 20% down payment experiencing the biggest increase in fees.” On top of the extra 1% penalty for having good credit! Why should I be penalized for my hard work?? Our government have lost their minds! ⁦@POTUS⁩ nypost.com/2023/04/16/how-th…

Exclusive | How the US is subsidizing high-risk homebuyers -- at the cost of those with good credit

Experts say an "unprecedented" overhaul of mortgage fees would result in higher payments for most buyers.

Here’s a snippet of an interview I DP’d a few weeks ago for Sports Illustrated. Had to light a gym and build 3 camera angles in a short timeframe. Great working with you Ashley and Dakota!

Replying to @CDCgov
@CDCgov I’m trying to find info on if my 3/12/20 flights (American 1940, 3695) or my 3/20/20 flights (United UA1607, UA6251) had anyone test positive for COVID19 and can’t find it anywhere. Or a central resource for all flights like Canada has. Can you help?? TIA

@CDCgov Why can we get this info from Canada but not from the US? Please help. #coronavirus #covid19 #covid19us

Apparently @Blackmagic_News thinks 60 FPS is high frame rate video. Spoiler: It’s not; it’s a standard frame rate that every video device should support. Anything *above* 60 FPS is considered high frame rate. It’s only (subjectively) HFR with regards to film.

So many films have 2K CGI, but is anyone complaining?? But more & more producers are asking for us to shoot 4K—but for what? I can shoot great images in HD & you wouldn’t complain. I don’t need to “re-frame,” or “have 2 angles,” bc pros frame well & shoot single cam as if it’s 2.

“Boring detector?” I thought that was called an “editor?” #postchat

I've been meaning to post about this for awhile now, but saw this meme today and had to share. Working in mainly the corp video world, I hear this kinda thing ALL the time. And it drives me nuts. Shooting interviews at T1.5 or so with like 6-8" of focus isn't fun or cinematic.

Wow. I wonder when NEP will be acquiring Live Media Group? 🤔🤔
Sports Video Group@sportsvideo2 Jul 2019
In a massive deal, @LiveMediaGrp has acquired @TNDV_television, Harb Production Services, and Coastal Media Group. The acquisition will make the company the largest U.S. full-service provider of mid-level live-production for broadcast and live events. bit.ly/2XMbWLC
So @Adobe is telling me to buy a completely new edit system at drop of a hat (since I can't update to the latest version bc of my hardware/software configurations--my current system is stable & happy). Now THAT'S customer service!! #postchat #customerservicefail #UNvaluedcustomer
So much of film editing is not technical. So much is basic house-keeping. Absorb all the footage. Know it all intimately. Then start to edit. #filmmaking

Been watching some Blue Bloods lately, and the cinematography is so good!
Went to my iPhone Notes, tapped one to open, ALL iCloud notes suddenly vanish! No option to recover. THIS IS IT @AppleSupport! I’M DONE WITH THIS iCLOUD PIECE OF GARBAGE!

After making backups from other offline Notes copies (as they had vanished from iPhone & iCloud), somehow they all magically synced up on my Mac & I was then able to edit each one to push them back to my iPhone. (Keyword: backups). SO weird, & Apple can’t explain either. #WIN??
Also, @Google Drive doesn’t do this!

Client today wanted stabilized shots. We made it happen. Just wish it hadn’t been such a rushed shoot!
Maximize creativity. Can you carve out 5 straight hours of uninterrupted time? Switching my schedule into focused blocks has been a game changer. Thx @dhh cr8.lv/2oQG6dY
