Look who our taxaholic Treasurer is blaming now… 🤦♂️
Australia’s collapsing housing market is because of what he’s doing, not who is criticising his policies.
Small businesses and families are struggling to keep their heads above financial water across the country. And no amount of spin can save them. They need Jim Chalmers to cut spending so that inflation and prices at the supermarket can start to come down, and stop interest rate hikes.
I am deeply shocked and saddened to hear the news of the violent attack on Helen Haines this afternoon in Wangaratta. My sincere thoughts and prayers are with her, her family, and loved ones in this difficult time.
The first step in fixing the budget is cutting out the fraud and corruption in the system. $15 billion of honest taxpayers' money was flushed down the drain by the CFMEU-Labor cartel.
Some of the best artists in the country live in our community. Their work deserves to be seen, so we found them a bigger stage: Parliament House. With help from Bayley Arts and the Brighton Art Society, seven local artists now have their work proudly hanging on the walls of my Parliament House office.
Each piece has been certified by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon Milton Dick MP, who got a tour of the collection. To every artist who shared their talent: thank you.
Your work is now seen by visitors from across the country, and I am very proud to be displaying it.
Government spending is keeping inflation high, forcing interest rates up and making you pay more at the checkout.
Labor's digital duty of care is nothing more than a blatant attempt to censor Australians. The Liberals will oppose it every step of the way.
When people in our community are doing it tough, Bayside Community Emergency Relief (BCER) is there to lend a hand. That’s why it’s so important we support the local organisations providing relief to those who need it most.
But that support doesn't happen on its own. It takes dedicated volunteers and the resources to back them. That's why it was my absolute pleasure to present the BCER team with a $3,500 Volunteer Grant, helping them continue being there for locals when they need it most.
To Deb and the whole team, keep up the fantastic work. This grant is from our community to you, to help you keep making a difference!
Under Labor, we have higher taxes, higher unemployment, higher spending, higher inflation, and higher interest rates.
And now they are waging war with small business to feed their spending addiction.
Under the Albanese economic model spending, inflation & interest rates are up, and with it unemployment. Now 4.6 to 4.7 per cent - 100,000 more Australians are unemployed since January. The IMF is projecting 800,000 next year.
How many more times does the Prime Minister need to humiliate his Treasurer before he dumps this trainwreck budget?
Labor's addiction to spending is keeping inflation up, and pushing interest rates higher. That's why we've had 16 interest rate rises under Labor.
The Treasurer will blame anyone but himself and his active inflation agenda.
Too many small business owners are asking why this government seems determined to make their survival harder.
To every small business targeted by the Albanese Government, we hear you, we see you and we stand with you. Our Small Business Act will be a legislative shield against Labor’s assault on you.
At every turn, Labor's war on small business is crunching cash flow and closing doors. Now they want to lob another tax on small businesses that operate out of a trust structure.
Labor is turning on the small businesses of the nation to feed its addiction to spending and active inflation agenda. This is just another nail in the coffin of Australian small business.
If you want to know why the @AlboMP government keeps attacking small business, their Minister, Anne Aly, has just said the @ato_gov_au credit card ban, that was signed off by @JEChalmers, was a decision of @RBAInfo. She actually has no idea what is going on.
