Some proper policies here. Suspect many on the Tory benches would quietly agree with most of this:

This argument is like telling a starving man he can’t have bread, because he needs a balanced diet.
Replying to @RogerHelmerMEP
But that argument doesn't hold: #Jackdaw = a gas field #Rosebank = 90% oil •Rosebank's oil would sell on intl markets, so no impact on energy bills •Rosebank's oil doesn't contain all the blends we need, so we'd still import oil that did •Rosebank's emissions = 7x Jackdaw's

Today MPs will vote on Labour's Northern Ireland Troubles Bill. It tears up the 2023 Legacy Act and opens the door to fresh investigations and civil claims against our brave veterans, decades after they served Queen and Country, fighting against IRA terrorists. How can this country ever ask people to serve their country if the government refuses to protect them? I voted against this proposal in November and will do so again. We have a duty to stand by our veterans! 🇬🇧

If you instigate a wealth tax at 9.01am tomorrow, you won’t collect a penny in revenue before 2030. The revenues are fragile, it’s anti-growth, and would take years to implement.
If I was Prime Minister , if I was Burnham , watching European cities ablaze . . . I’d instigate a ‘wealth tax’ at about 9.01am tomorrow morning . Just saying . Or should we just ‘eat cake’ ?

Today’s slight drop in unemployment masks the real problems in education and training. Further Education providers were taking on 32,000 unfunded students last year. The system is creaking at the seams with extreme short term fixes.

Excellent info and analysis of the diesel price spike.
"The UK's crazy diesel prices are a problem of our own making" Average UK forecourt prices are now above £2 per litre, some 40pc up on a year ago. Diesel is the "workhorse" fuel of any modern economy, powering transport, manufacturing, agriculture, its high price now feeding into multiple supply chains – and likely to send headline inflation much higher. But what we are living through is less an oil supply crisis than a refining crisis – a crisis of our own making. It’s as if the government hasn’t properly thought this one through. Yes and ho!
Let me get this straight. Work all your life building a business. Sell that business to a rando - charged at 24%. Try to pass it on to your family - charged at 45%. Genuinely insane telegraph.co.uk/politics/202…

Consultations like this, although cleared by Ministers, normally result from civil service initiatives. Which means that in the Treasury there are permanent officials who want to shut down the entire family business sector of the economy. (1/2) telegraph.co.uk/politics/202…

🚨BREAKING🚨 New polling conducted for City AM, published in the last hour, shows that two thirds of Brits would OPPOSE rejoining the EU if it meant a commitment to adopt the Euro at any point in the future. Which it would. This is terminal for the Rejoin campaign. Terminal.

Reform isn’t The Truman Show. Political parties deserve some privacy behind closed doors. When newspapers hacked private voicemails, it was a national scandal. Why is spying celebrated when the target is Nigel Farage?stevenedginton.com/p/the-med…

It’s very clear that the threat to Nigel Farage and other Reformers is off the scale, recent events speak for themselves. And it’s also very clear that some ‘journalists’ are no more than activists.
ITV have likely broken the law to put the safety of Reform UK MPs at risk. This is totally unacceptable. There is no depth that the establishment won't sink to in order to tear Reform UK down.
