Hey Uline. I’ve called you numerous times over the years to request NO catalogue delivery. For some odd reason you’d sooner deliver this unwanted 900 page monstrosity than cancel. Such a waste going straight to the recycle bin. Where’s the logic? #uline

We travelled 440km to get here and paddle 18km. Absolutely worth the drive and the glassy, calm water made it unforgettable. The colours were peaking on the west side. #rocklake #algonquinpark

Birthday bike ride along an old rail trail. It passes through a flat valley, the ancient bed of glacial Lake Algonquin. Gotta love those rail/bike paths.

When we were camping on the Canadian side of Lake Huron recently, I made sure to bring along my war kayak. Just in case. 😉

We spent the last 8 days at The Pinery Provincial Park on Lake Huron. A great place for biking, paddling and relaxation.

A fun fact that gets overlooked by the current administration
Canada buys more dairy from the U.S. than anyone else at over a billion dollars a year.

Went out for dinner this week to celebrate a birthday. My complaint? When the time came to pay the bill, I calculated the tip amount on the food not including the tax portion. Paid by debit and let the machine add the same % They calculate INCLUDING tax. Why tip on tax?

Lays potato chips are another example of corporate greed. They inflated prices during the pandemic and kept increasing prices yearly afterwards. Now they’re destroying overstock and sending it to landfills.
PepsiCo, the parent company of Doritos, lost over $1 billion after raising the price of a bag of Doritos to $6-$7. People stopped buying them. They later lowered the price to recover some of the lost revenue, but sales are still down. I love that for them.

Russian olive. It sounds exotic doesn’t it? It’s actually an invasive species that grows locally in Ontario. They were introduced to North America in the late 19th century by European immigrants.
