The video about @stgemmashospice Santa Dash is up on my youtube channel: youtu.be/Bu528-GB_WI?feature… Santa’s helpers at this event were volunteers from Roundhay Sixth Form and I’m working on a reel about them. Keep an eye out for it later today. #volunteers #santadash #leeds

This weekend I was at Roundhay Park filming at the @stgemmashospice Santa Dash. The sunny skies made all the Santa hats look brighter and more cheerful! It was a great event. You can watch my video here: youtu.be/Bu528-GB_WI?si=AzIJ… #leeds #charity #santadash

Such a pleasure to hear @RajKaur310 talk to @LeedsTrinity students today. I had the absolute honour of interviewing her after the session and get even more words of wisdom. A true inspiration and a very helpful session #LTJMW

To wrap it all up, @RajKaur310 gives us the same advice she gives her kids: “Always remember the thing that made you really happy when you were a kid” That could be your career! #LTJMW @LeedsTrinity

Without “sounding mom-ish” @RajKaur310 encourages students to replace doom scrolling with practicing their skills because “it’s about your attitude towards it” that makes you stand out to employers. “The process isn’t easy” she says. #LTJMW #journalism #advice

@RajKaur310 is here, catching up with @realleighpurves and @canadiankath ahead of her #LTJMW about her journey into ITV Raj is a soon to be graduate of @LeedsTrinity so it feels great to have her back!

Such an inspiration! @reetacbbc shares that being pushy at the beginning of your career is encouraged, trust in media goes both ways, as audiences “have to think for themselves” and how AI can be useful. #LTJMW

Strong start with stories of breaking into the industry! From a ‘proposal gone wrong’ to the luck of @rlwithjd to going for sports without knowing much about it for @JessicaBayley @jonathanbuchan says “Start getting work now, don’t wait until you finish” #LTJMW

Kicking off day 2 with the @BBCLeeds Team. Exciting day ahead! #LTJMW
