My daughter found my late wife's law school jump drive last night. Her wedding planning folder, our engagement photos were on it, as well as a PowerPoint I'd never seen of love texts I sent her. She was so far out of my league....

How many times do we seek our own for our own sakes?
I justify my actions sometimes, but the reality is - I need to be more patient, more forgiving, more enduring, and have my eyes fixed on the example that Christ set and trust in His goodness and His justice.
Not the crowds, not the mortal judge, not my friends, not the communities... but God's court will be the final word - for God will rightly discern the deep motivations of every heart.
