Incredible!
A test result from one of my old data sets using the new Planet Derotator software that is currently under development --Jupiter with Io back in September 2022. Many useful and unique features are present in this program and i think its likely to become very popular among serious observers. It removes a lot of the time consuming manual work in other programs allowing fine tuning of many parameters within the software itself. A public release will appear soon, and i've no doubt it will prove hugely popular. My congratulations and thanks to Luc and Dominique for their work in developing it.

Mineral Moon - Waxing Gibbous Moon 89% I stacked 50 frames of old data from the waxing gibbous moon phase and processed them in Affinity V3 to create this mineral moon. The images were taken with a Canon EOS 750D DSLR, paired with a Sky-Watcher Explorer Black Diamond N200/1000 (Newtonian telescope), mounted on a Sky-Watcher NEQ5 mount.

I used a 14” telescope in my homemade observatory to capture Saturn and Tethys, one of its moons. You can see spokes on the rings, my first time capturing them so vividly!

I captured this planetary nebula from my backyard last year, collecting a whopping 13 hours of total exposure time. Cataloged as Sharpless 188 (Sh2-188), it’s a relatively small target in Cassiopeia, and easy to overlook next to the constellation’s much larger nebulae. For this image, I used the ZWO ASI585MC Air, a ‘smart camera’ that combines a color imaging camera, an autoguiding sensor, and a Wi-Fi controller in one. (I run this one constantly) 🤓 One of my favorite things about astrophotography is discovering little gems like this hiding in the night sky! About the Camera: bit.ly/3TS9e6x
