The #WomenInDynamics team spoke about the importance of retaining women in the technology industry at @DirectionsEMEA today.
Carme Cortada explained how employing women into the industry is all for nothing without providing them with reasons to stay.
Just witnessed a murder [of crows, fighting with a flock of gulls] on the rooftops, while an ominously long line of wood pigeons watched on, silently. I must admit, that's a pretty creepy start to my Halloween.

With thanks to @Timothy_Grayson for including my poem "Yellow Torchlight and the Blues" in the Leicester Literary Review etsy.com/uk/listing/15814717…
ALT Extract of poem "Yellow Torchlight and the Blues" by Emma Lee, "The Old Duke stands/ between the Llandogger Trow and the harbour./ Inside Saturday night shines dull/ on yellowed walls/ through beer-fumed tobacco fog." with cover image for Leicester Literary Review issue 2.
We took the kids to try out my Halloween adventure trail at @BelvoirCastle! It was amazing to see (first-hand) all the other children and their families so engaged with something I'd created. Very proud of myself today! 😊

I'm so excited to share a 'sneak peek' at my notes & sketches for @BelvoirCastle's Halloween adventure trail! It's all written up and in design, and I can't wait to share more details with you! The kids are really looking forward to it!👻🧙♀️
2/2 Georgia's parents were also invited. Her mother, Sarah, said "Meeting the Duchess was overwhelming & spending time with [Tim] afterwards was incredible. [He] made it such a special event & we wished we had more time with him!" Congratulations Georgia! Glad you had a good day!
The Duchess of Rutland & I were delighted to present the first Belvoir Prize for Poetry to Georgia Sanderson at @BelvoirCastle. Georgia, a student at @uniofleicester, received the highest marks out of all the portfolios of poetry which were submitted for assessment in 2022. 1/2

As the cost of living spirals upwards, and people are forced to work dead-end jobs to make ends meet, I am reminded of this (sadly timeless) quote, by Jean-Jacques Rousseau:
'Man is born free, and everywhere he is in chains.'
Absolutely devoured this new short story collection by @crystalclearjt. I feel very privileged to live in the same county as a writer of this calibre. Excellent. Truly excellent.
I produced an article with @Microsoft, @nvidia, @Devoncroft, @MovieLabsNews and other big industry names in the latest issue of @tech_record. I'm pretty proud of it. Check it out here: technologyrecord.com/digital…
