From what I understand, the recommendation from the #collegeofbishops is that the #doctrine of #marriage won't change (even if they had recommended it, the likelihood of being passed with a 2/3 majority in each house of #synod currently is very low).
The similarities to the current Baptist situation, is it is not fair to be asking clergy, who are banned from equal marriage, to bless, affirm & celebrate a marriage on behalf of a church, which still officially believes it isn't really a marriage, but sinful?
