🙌 Ten years after Brexit, the tone in Brussels is changing. MEPs across political groups are openly talking about Britain “correcting the mistake” … from a special partnership all the way to full EU membership. The door isn’t shut. Britain now has to decide whether it wants to walk back through it.

An MIT professor gives a student $5 and says: send any amount to a stranger in this room. Whatever you send triples. The stranger decides how much comes back. Rational answer: send nothing. You lose every dollar you trust. Most students send almost everything. Most strangers return more than half. The math says keep it. The room says otherwise. Then the professor runs a different game. Same cash. Same room. One student splits. The other can only accept. No rejection. No consequences. The offers collapse. Not to zero. But enough to see the line between generosity and strategy. One year a student got Swiss chocolate instead of cash. She was lactose intolerant. Gave away 100%. The professor noted it. The class laughed. Nobody noticed the point. She had zero cost of generosity. The moment giving costs nothing, everyone is generous. The moment real money hits the table, the room divides into the same two groups every semester. People who send first. People who wait. Labor, capital, arbitrage, insurance. Four ways to make money. All four require the same opening move. You send value before you see a return. A paycheck after the work. A deposit before the interest. A bet before the edge. A premium before the claim. The lecture is free. MIT filmed it years ago. The game runs every semester. The split barely changes. Sending first is free. Knowing if it comes back is the part that costs something.

A comprehensive environmental study led by researchers at Stockholm University warns that rainwater across every geographic region of Earth is now heavily contaminated with toxic synthetic pollutants. Analytical testing reveals that global precipitation consistently contains per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) at concentration levels that vastly exceed the lifetime drinking water health advisories established by major global regulatory agencies. Commonly referred to as "forever chemicals" due to the exceptionally strong carbon-fluorine bonds that make them virtually immune to natural environmental degradation, these substances have integrated entirely into the Earth's hydrologic cycle. Because they cycle continuously between the oceans and the atmosphere via marine aerosols, they have successfully contaminated even the most isolated locations on the planet, including the remote ice sheets of Antarctica and the high-altitude Tibetan Plateau. This global saturation means that untreated rainwater everywhere on Earth is now unsafe for human consumption. For decades, industrial manufacturing sectors have used PFAS compounds extensively to produce everyday consumer goods, including nonstick cookware, stain-resistant fabrics, waterproof outerwear, and specialized aqueous film-forming firefighting foams. Over time, these chemicals leached out of landfills and industrial wastewater streams, permanently infiltrating primary aquatic systems and cycling upward into the upper atmosphere. Biomedical research has definitively linked chronic exposure to these persistent pollutants with a wide array of severe, long-term health anomalies. These risks include the development of specific malignancies, compromised immune function, decreased fertility rates, elevated cholesterol, and notable developmental delays in children. As international regulatory bodies actively work to lower permissible drinking water thresholds, environmental health experts warn that humanity has crossed a critical planetary boundary. Because these persistent chemicals are already distributed globally throughout the atmosphere and water cycles, reversing this widespread contamination is practically impossible using current remediation technologies. [Cousins, I. T., Johansson, J. H., Salter, M. E., Sha, B., & Scheringer, M. (2022). Outside the safe operating space of a new planetary boundary for per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS). And here it is in black and white: an opt-out protocol for the euro could be negotiated, and EU membership does not automatically equal Schengen membership. @b_judah The actual price is not surrendering the pound or removing every border. It is accepting that meaningful access to the Single Market requires shared rules and demonstrating that Britain’s chosen direction will survive a future change of government. Politically, this article is very encouraging: Macron and Sánchez are welcoming Britain back; Commission officials describe Burnham’s honesty as overdue; and Brussels now sees Britain choosing a destination rather than merely patching Brexit. The door is open, but Britain must approach it with a clear and durable mandate. 🔗 archive.ph/2026.09.30-154647…

‼️ The Brexit scare stories are already collapsing. The euro? An opt-out protocol could be negotiated. Schengen? EU membership does not automatically mean joining it. The real discussion is about access to the Single Market, shared rules and whether Britain can offer a stable, democratic mandate that survives a change of government. Macron says “Welcome back”. Spain offers “open arms”. Brussels calls Burnham’s speech the most constructive signal from Downing Street in a decade. The door is open. Britain must now decide to walk through it.

What happened at the White House was not a safety summit. It was a public relations ritual designed to give the AI cartel exactly what it wanted: permission to continue unchecked. "Voluntary Self-Regulation" Is an Oxymoron The phrase itself is a confession. If a technology is truly dangerous, you do not ask the companies building it to police themselves. You impose laws, you create oversight, you mandate transparency, and you enforce penalties for violations. Voluntary self-regulation is what you do when you have already decided not to regulate. The companies present Meta, OpenAI, Nvidia, Google, Microsoft, Anthropic, Amazon, xAI, and Palantir are not disinterested parties. They are the architects of the technology, the primary beneficiaries of its deployment, and the ones with the most to lose from any meaningful constraint. Asking them to write their own safety rules is like asking the fox to guard the henhouse and then praising the fox for promising not to eat too many chickens. The "Independent Auditors" Are Not Independent The agreement says companies will "bring in outside auditors and evaluators." This is a shell game. The auditors will be: ◾ Funded by the same companies they are auditing. ◾ Staffed by former employees of those companies. ◾Contractually bound to confidentiality agreements that prevent public disclosure. ◾ Operating under standards written by the industry itself. This is the same model that failed in the financial sector. The "independent auditors" of Enron, Lehman Brothers, and the banks that caused the 2008 crash were paid by the companies they were supposed to be scrutinizing. They signed off on fraud because their fees depended on it. The AI auditing industry will be no different. The Board Review Is a Fig Leaf The agreement requires boards to "independently review" the auditors' reports. But these boards are stocked with the same investors, executives, and cronies who profit from the technology. They are not independent. They are the shareholders. They will review the reports the way a tobacco company reviews a report on lung cancer by burying it and issuing a statement that says "we take safety seriously." The DOJ and FBI Are Not a Solution The agreement says the DOJ and FBI "would remain available for serious legal or national security emergencies." This is not oversight. This is a threat. It means the government will not regulate AI development, but it will reserve the right to intervene when the technology threatens the state itself. The message to the AI companies is clear: you can do whatever you want, as long as you do not threaten our power. The message to the public is equally clear: we will not protect you from the technology, but we will protect ourselves from the technology's consequences. The Real Agenda: A Strategic Race Against China The Trump administration views AI as a strategic race with China. This is the cover story. The real agenda is the same as it has always been: maximize power, maximize profit, and eliminate any obstacle to total control. The "race against China" is used to justify: ◾ Unlimited spending on AI infrastructure. ◾Massive energy consumption by data centers. ◾ The acceleration of 5G and 6G deployment. ◾ The integration of AI into every aspect of the economy and society. ◾ The erosion of privacy, autonomy, and human sovereignty. The AI companies are not being regulated because the government has decided that AI is too important to regulate. The race is more important than the safety. The power is more important than the people. The Market's Message The market read this correctly: "supportive of the broader AI trade." The AI companies can continue to invest aggressively, deploy recklessly, and profit enormously, while telling customers and lawmakers that their systems face "independent review." This is the same playbook used by every industry that has captured its regulator. The oil companies wrote their own environmental rules. The banks wrote their own capital requirements. The pharmaceutical companies wrote their own safety protocols. The result was always the same: the industry got richer, the public got poorer, and the planet got poisoned. What happened at the White House was not a safety summit. It was a coronation. The AI cartel was given permission to continue building the machine god, with no meaningful constraints, no real accountability, and no genuine oversight. The "voluntary agreement" is a piece of theater, designed to pacify the public while the real work continues. The people who attended the meeting Zuckerberg, Altman, Huang, Hassabis, Nadella, Amodei, Jassy, Musk, and the Palantir representative are not the solution. They are the problem. They are the ones building the technology that will, if left unchecked, become the most powerful instrument of control in human history. The question is not whether AI will be regulated. The question is who will regulate it, and in whose interests. The answer, as of this meeting, is that the AI companies will regulate themselves, in their own interests, and the public will be told to trust them. Do not trust them. They just told you, through their actions, that they are not to be trusted. The only safety framework that matters is the one that is imposed from outside, with full transparency, real penalties, and democratic accountability. Anything less is a lie.

High Demand in New York: Carney at the Centre of Global Talks - Our Prime Minister Carney arrived at the UN in New York and rapidly became one of the most sought‑after leaders in the building. His schedule filled up extremely fast as delegations lined up to speak with him. Many nations were eager to discuss MUCH deeper economic integration with Canada, seeing Carney as a steady, reliable partner at a moment when global politics are shifting due to an unstable and weakened United States. Throughout the day, Carney moved from one meeting room to another, holding conversations with leaders who wanted to explore new trade pathways, shared regulatory frameworks, and long‑term cooperation. Several diplomats signaled a growing strategy pivoting away from dependence on the U.S., looking instead to Canada as a bridge to STABILITY and modern economic planning. Officials familiar with the meetings said countries were actively trying to secure time with Carney to schedule follow‑up sessions later in the week. His reputation for calm leadership and strategic thinking, also an incredible sense of humour, made him a central figure at the UN gathering, and his presence suggested that Canada’s role on the world stage is expanding in ways that were hard to imagine even a few years ago. Ultimately, this sudden shift in alliances highlights just how rapidly Canada has transformed into a global powerhouse. As the United States continues to stumble and lose its grip on international trust, the rest of the world is realizing that Washington is no longer a reliable anchor. The honest truth is that global confidence has migrated north; Canada is now the trusted partner of stability, leaving a failing America behind in the shadow of its own decline. #canpoli #cdnpoly #UN #MAGA #Republicans #usa

🚨 SCIENTISTS FOUND LIGHT INSIDE HUMAN CELLS Researchers discovered that tiny parts inside our cells may communicate using microscopic flashes of light called biophotons. These signals are invisible to the human eye, but scientists believe they could help cells coordinate, repair damage, and respond to stress. The discovery is changing how experts understand the human body — suggesting that deep inside us, cells may be “talking” through light itself.
