If no one can tell how did you know?
Bumped into a trans woman today at the grocery store. She smiled and said hi. I smiled and said hi back. Nothing happened. I didn’t become trans myself, It’s like there were Just two people living their lives normally If that bothers you then, you’re an asshole.

You are that one person. Congratulations.
There is always that one person that will try to politicise everything - And this time it's a senior BBC employee. The County is Londonderry, the name it has held since 1613 - If he wanted to be historically accurate he could have given it it's former name of County Coleraine.

Well thank God for that! Not a single new celebrity autism diagnosis over the weekend, and public concern was clearly growing that this may have become the new norm! Let's hope we can get back to the twice daily diagnoses that we have gotten used to over the past few years!😐

Jim Allister on Nolan this morning unironically describing objection to members of the Portadown Orange Order getting to coat trail down the Garvaghy Rd, to apartheid against black people in Alabama over 50 years ago. 😳

Lattes? I’m a peppermint tea man. I find it helps to keep one’s blood pressure down when confronted with the occasional outburst of Donaghadee froth.

The Orange Order : To be a member you may shoot a catholic but you may not marry a catholic. Not sectarian though apparently.

Interesting banner held aloft at last night's Portadown Orange Parade. It implies that breaking the law in pursuit of justice is OK? (But not when those Catholics on Garvaghy do it?)

Carla Lockhart can rant and rave about profound consequences all she likes but none of this is within her gift. Also, where was this same energy in calling for profound consequences when her mate Jeffrey was revealed to be a child rapist???

This can’t be ignored. The song envisages a world where there is no Pope, nuns, priests nor Catholic Churches. Those playing it have been invited to participate in a procession demanding an Orange parade thru a Catholic area in the town. This is BBCNI headline-worthy material.
It didnt take too long for last night's parade to show its true face. Minutes after Lockhart and senior members of Portadown walked by playing the victims, the sectarian, anti Catholic hate tune "No Pope" was given a blast. The O.O. is a hate organisation, nothing more.

The DUP are in the middle of multiple scandals inc sexual abuse, financial impropriety and alleged domestic abuse. There have been none of the same deranged demands for criminal convictions and "punishment" for those involved from within nationalism. The difference is stark.
An apparent attempt to ‘criminalise’ the political leadership of Irish nationalism and republicanism here for exercising the right to protest peacefully in solidarity with a historically traumatised and vulnerable community. Welcome to … 2026.

I've seen bigger crowds in Marks and Spencers getting meal deals at lunchtime.
Sure portadown has no support, unionism/loyalism is dead or so the media would have you believe

Pengelly promoting the poppy appeal, doing a breakfast tour of Orange Halls, slabbering about SF, attacking the Garvaghy Rd residents and supporting the Orange Order marching at Drumcree, all while being labelled part of the "pan nationalist front" is frankly fucking hilarious.🤣
The Poppy Appeal 2026 has been officially launched. Every year, the Poppy Appeal kicks off our national and annual period of Remembrance as we head towards Remembrance Day. Across Northern Ireland we have had local launches of the Appeal. It is an opportunity to once again remember the incredible sacrifice of so many. It is a time to also remember those who still grieve the loss of a loved one through war and conflict. To remember those who still endure pain and injury through their service. To remember those facing hardship by way of loss or service. Thank you to the many, many volunteers who give so much every year to raise funds for others. Thank you to all who give so generously - whether it is to the Poppy Appeal or to another armed forces or veterans charity. It really matters. ❤️ #Remembrance #PoppyAppeal2026

Hopefully the man with the umbrella was more adept at opening it than he was at speaking coherently.
The man beside me, wearing an orange collarette, pointed his umbrella towards Brian Kingston and said, “O’Neill must be got out.” Brian replied, “We’re trying to get her out.” That's at odds with Gavin

Is there anything more pathetic than witnessing Emma Little Pengelly trying to keep in with a shower of bigots who absolutely detest her simply because she won't bigot as hard as them?😂😂

Gaston's favorite UDA slaughter may be 14 year old schoolboy Philip Rafferty. A car full of UDA heroes cruising for a Catholic victim saw Philip walking home late after school in this Catholic school uniform. Four brave UDA heroes for God and Ulster forced Philip into a car. We don't know if they asked him what he wanted to be when he grew up. If they did Philip would've said an architect. Philip never got that chance. Gaston's UDA heroes took Philip, beat him for what terrified must have felt ages. Then those brave UDA heroes put a bullet in Philip's head. And dumped Philip's lifeless body in waste ground. @TGastonMLA marches for his heroes the brave UDA. Timothy no doubt wants his kids to continue the UDA legacy. Here is Philip dressed for his confirmation and Timothy dressed in paramilitary style to honor his brave UDA heroes.

Would you ever shut up about "the rule of law"! And if you have to scream this at people peacefully protesting to stop the Troubles being reignited then save some of this energy next 11th July when your illegal bonfire building electorate are burning their neighbours houses down.
A stormy and cold night, but sending a strong message. People are rightly angry at the behaviour of those who have thumbed their nose at law and have defied the decisions of the parades commission, the courts and the PSNI. We are all deeply proud of our traditions and give them our absolute support- we have been deeply hurt and angered by the abuse and hatred our traditions, identity and culture has had to endure. Well done to all the bands and those who participated, and in such a dignified way. The lawful behaviour of the Orange and all those who support them is in stark contrast to those who opposed and oppose them.
