Sidenote: I wonder how many people will accidentally vote for Bronagh Morgan (who, by the way, is a worthy choice in her own right) instead of Josh Morgan because she appears immediately above him on the ballot?

Speaking strictly as a citizen (removing the journalist hat), I predict a Susan Stevenson win.
The lesson? Low information voters are ripe for the taking. Get a few good slogans, make some impossible promises, demonize the homeless, and rile up some anger. I know, it’s sad.
Election Day. Will low information voters carry the day? Stay tuned!

I remember watching this in a high school computer class.

Wikipedia, which went online in January, 2001, is now the greatest compendium of human knowledge ever assembled. Yet in the last four years, it has lost 25 per cent of its traffic—more than a billion monthly visitors. Since the site recruits its editors from its audience, this dip also threatens its growth and quality. Many users have been intercepted by A.I. “It’s a cruelly ironic fate,” Julian Lucas writes. Wikipedia was the single most important training corpus in the history of artificial intelligence. Now artificial intelligence is threatening its survival. The replies on this are so depressing. Twitter really has become a cesspool. 🥴
At some point, those select few decided, arbitrarily I might add, ‘okay, Morgan, Stevenson and Krose (why?) are the three frontrunners.’ On what basis? There are at least a couple others who’ve been cut out of the process with legitimate ideas and with chance to make noise.
Meanwhile, if I’m @ThatBronaghOne, I’m pissed that I wasn’t included in the televised debates/the larger ones on YouTube (AM980). I can’t say I know what they used as cutoffs, but we don’t have polls, so what’s the decision? ‘Frontrunners’ shouldn’t be anointed by a select few.

Today is the last day we’ll have four MLB games in a single day for who the hell knows how long. Wire to wire postseason baseball. Cherish it.
Sale done after 5 (95 pitches).
Dodgers masterclass in making a (star) pitcher work.

40+ thru two innings. He’s dominant (6 out, 6 K), but that requires pitches. Dodgers basically need to tire him out and score later (probably against ‘pen).
